This is why the establishment has given us weak candidates and poor campaigns. They have absolutely no interest in any kind of change that would mean any loss of power or resources for themselves. Both left and right have establishments, and they work together.

They do come together for highly important causes of national import.
They also came together few years back for Iraqi invasion when Hillary, John Kerry, McCain, Lieberman, Bill Maher, MSNBC owners etc all joined the GOP establishment to stop opposition to that freedom spread project. Rest is history.
