Good thing Indiana is a late state!

It's amazing how many people have never heard of Ron Paul (well I guess not that crazy)

We got to do an informational speech on anything we wanted, I of course chose Ron Paul :) and I got the biggest cheer.

I talked about college costs, expensive pointless wars, freedom, and who ron paul is. Not only did I get a few questions, but we get to do a persuasion speech next and people were really interested in it after hearing about it

Let's win these first 2 states, cause when it comes to Indiana, I'm self proclaiming myself General of the efforts here ;)

We need to focus on getting Ron Paul on the ballot here in Indiana. We need 1,500 signatures on the petitions for each district. We have 9 districts, so that means we need 13,500 signatures. Last go around we BARELY made it happen and wouldn't have if it weren't for one awesome gentlemen toughing it out in the blizzard to get the final thousand or so we were short.

We've already started on this in the Indianapolis Meetup. If you want more details who to talk to, shoot me a PM and I'll get you a contact.

Update: the deadline for this petition is January 31st.

i grew up in northern indiana. seems to me if you get his message of civil liberties out to the biker bars and the economy to everyone else he can't lose there.

Sounds important you should start a thread about this

We are working hard here in Indiana even though our state is late and we have people in districts 3, 5 and 6 and the ballot count is wrong we need 500 per congressional district for a total of 4500 around the state but you are correct in the fact that we want to get 3x that in every district as they will throw some out. so 1500 is a good number to work on. The meetup groups are working hard at getting to gun shows and libraries to get signatures if you want to help please let us know what district you are in and if you are willing to be the go to for that district and dont forget Jan is DELEGATES which is very very important no matter what we do

I lived in Southern Indiana for 10 years, then moved across the river to Louisville.

Hey there fellow hoosiers! It's good to know there are others from Indiana on here because I was beginning to think I was the only one. I'm from Evansville and would love to get involved in anything I can to help. Our meetup hasn't been very active and was hoping maybe some of the other groups could give me some ideas on ways to get more involved! I will be very free for the next month because I'm on Christmas break, so I'd be more than happy to spend my time helping out ron paul. Let me know if you guys have any ideas!

How can I direct friends and family that still live there to sign? mostly st. joseph county and some nearby.

What district is that in? We are still getting volunteers to collect in every district until the official campaign sends people in

Here is a list of gunshows and a great way to get ballot signatures. If anyone wants to do one in your area but does not know where to start let me know and will help or get a meetup close to you to help

i have no idea. it's north next to the michigan border. i live in ohio. i talk to them often, but would need to direct them somewhere to get their signature. it may only come out to 25 or so people, unless i can compel them to spread the word.

eta: has anyone thought about heading to their local college campuses?
