Likening someone against FEMA to someone who is against helping people is like saying someone against playing the lottery is somehow against becoming a millionaire. Sure the lottery has made a lucky few millionaires, just as FEMA has helped some families in great need; but at what cost, at what efficiency? That’s what is in question here. (Additional/Optional: Most people against playing the lottery are against the inefficient way it is to becoming wealthy, as I am against FEMA as an organization because of their inefficiencies. Imagine how many more people could be saved or helped if we actually had an efficient agency running things rather than relying on the federal government.)
