Good news for us (statistic)

Right on! They had their chance and look where we are now.

The future belongs to us.

more than 50% of voters used internet for their election news:

alot has happened since 2008. 4 years has given the younger public another 4 years to grow and reach the voting age. Let's not have our grandpa's decide the future of our generation. Let's do this.
That's pretty rude to say about the older generation. The media has been picking your president. I see their divide and conquer tactic is working on you.

Maybe a good online commercial to this effect would motivate voters to get to the polls.

I dont think he meant anything by it. After all it's a fact that the older generation will vote while the younger may be more apathetic.

It is a rude remark, but then again the retiree crowd having turned young people into debt slaves was even more rude. Its not an appropriate, wise, or smart comment, but its certainly justified.

If the globalists have their way this will be the last US election.
Things are snowballing out of control too fast for them , if Paul doesn't win the nomination this time a similar candidate to him will win next time as more and more people wake up.

You buy into the divide and conquer crap too eh?

What he said is both inaccurate and not justified.

The retiring crowd did not turn people into debt slaves. The Khazars did that. Study Some History, and quit promoting the rich vs. poor; men vs. women; red vs. blue; black vs. white; and the old vs. young dividing memes.

Our grandparents put the furniture in place for you. Our parents were slack at the wheel and allowed the house guests to trash the place. Apparently you believe the house guests story about how our grandparents trashed the place.

The main difference between the young and old is access to information,if it wasnt for the internet Ron Paul would have never caught on like he has and most of you would be supporting the status quo.

We need to figure out how to get the information out to them around the dinosaur media. Then our Grandparents can help us make the correct decision for our generation.

QFT!

Murray Rothbard's book, "The Mystery of Banking" was not even available in public libraries, and neither was Eustace Mullins "The Secret of The Federal Reserve" Now the truth is at your disposal free just by clicking on the link. Before the Internet, they hid valuable information pretty well.

Yes, it can be honestly said that seniors are uninformed because of their lack of access to information.

I wouldn't. I'd just be staying home or doing some other form of libertarian activism.

I dunno.. ill defend the OP. 15 trillions of debt and our older folk are still buying the medias garbage.... not that it makes all old people bad, but i dont think thats what the op's point was. More along the lines of "lets counter the uniformed media led older vote with a growing number of free thinkers and informed votes."

Thats how i take it. I understand both sides. Sometimes i think old people created this mess. But truthfully i know its not really them, elites have a powerful mind control tool (tv, radio).

This is why it is so important to save the internet from govt censorship. It really is the last frontier.

Dude ... give the "conquer & divide" a rest. People have a right to be aware of hard statistics like voting age.

It's not just access to information. Young people can change their minds. With age, that ability is generally lost. Old people are social democrats. Old people are social democrats (aka democratic socialists) who believe in things like Socialist Security, the minimum wage, government health care, etc. They believe FDR saved us from the Great Depression, that WWII was a holy war for Justice, Freedom, and Everything Good, and that the feds were the only thing that saved us from monopolistic robber barons who forced children to load 15 tons of coal a day for negative pay, thus getting further in debt each day.

These opinions will not change. Old people cannot change their opinions. Thus, we basically rely on the oldsters' lack of concern for candidates actual policies and concern for superficial factors like how likeable the candidate is, how much literature he sends them, and how often he came and personally talked to them in their town and shook their hands. Luckily, we have a likeable candidate who is sending them lots of literature and working very very hard having lots of local town hall meetings.
