I was watching Al Jazerra English to see what was going on in the Gaza war and they just started a documentary on the global financial collapse. Looks like the first episode on about Iceland.

Some of the people in the documentary made it seem as if the problem was the banks were private and, therefore, should be nationalized.

Most people are statists everywhere unfortunately. At least ones with authority in their fields. Many don't know it and just don't understand capitalism =(
