It seems a large number of GLP visitors were alerted by something around August-Sep last year. It's quite possible that there are many such GLPs scattered around, sniffing ur IPs and planting spyware etc.

any comments on this?

Almost a year later, yes.

I've never been to that site. Today, while searching for something via Google, their name appeared in the search results. Remembering that I've heard people here mention them, I clicked the link.

My IP is banned? I've been banned from a site or two but never before I actually posted, much less visited.

I don't really care. Google cache told me they don't have the answer I want, but I thought it was weird.

I think it's just a social experiment, more or less. I got banned from it.

i was banned several times over....the mods restore you when reporting it.

tech heads in there get your ip address and then use it to post sometimes and thus, the band happens, but mods know this happens, so it's just something to put up with sometimes

I'm not into the whole conspiracy thing, so I really don't care that I'm banned. I just thought it was weird that I got pre-banned.
