We're within $30,000 of TEN MILLION for the year: $8.268M raised through 9/30/07.
 
Plus donations mailed Friday and through the weekend are still being delivered as we speak.
 
Three things to consider:
  1. He just had the best single day of online contributions! Awesome!
  2. Whether it does or doesn't include West Coast donations is not really important ... believe it or not most (sane) Easterners go to bed before midnight. :) If the counter is left up, it could very well be at 430k in the next few hours.
  3. More incentive for all of us to double our efforts to educate people about Dr. Paul!
 
I think it's hilarious and amazing that some of us are disappointed over raising $400k in 3 days. It wasn't that long ago it took us half a month to raise that much. I look forward to similar threads next month when we'll be disappointed that we only raised half a million in two days.

Remember what goals are for: you aim above the mark to hit the mark. Honestly, I didn't think we'd pull in this much in this short period of time. Historically, Sunday and Monday or two of the slower days with donations. We set the record for most money raised in 24 hours for October. It shows that HQ has a lot of faith in us.

That's actually one of the most intelligent things I've read on this site. With that said, I want us to HIT $12 million this quarter, not $10 million, regardless of how impressive the $10 million would be.
