Someone HAD to post a doom and gloom post because the goal was missed!

We just had the best fundraising day of the quarter!
The third best day of the quarter was also during this project, last Saturday!
The second best day of the quarter was last Thursday!

The three best days of the quarter have all been in the last five days! That is awesome, and frankly the donations are going to slow for a few days just like they did after the big Q3 push. Anyone who doesn't expect that has unrealistic expectations.

We did GREAT! If we didn't miss a goal now and then we would be aiming too low!

One thing about the three day goal: it included saturday and sunday, which are typically slower days for donations. Sunday specifically probably kept this goal from being reached. I think it is amazing that the campaign raised >$400k over the weekend. Good stuff. We are not yet in Obama / Clinton fundraising territory, but we are definitely doing well...
