Wait, the recession ended? Since when? I see a lot of stock market but not a lot of decent jobs.
The "recession" refers to the economy receeding or declining. It ends when the decline stops - not when things are back to the levels they were when the crash started.
The economy never goes up or down forever. Typically we see some sort of "correction" of varying magnitudes about every 4-6 years. Ones of hte magnitude we just experienced starting in 2007 come along about every 100 years. Will we have another economic decline in the future? Absolutely. Will it be as bad as what recently happened? Not likely.
