Glenn Beck-Thanks for the great interview

VoteRonPaul2008, what was it about the interview that you thought was terrible? I thought it was superb exposure.

I wrote to Glenn Beck and thanked him. I also told him I was sorry he was being threatened. It is unknown to me why a fringe element like that would even endorse a Ron Paul presidency given that he is against violent acts.

That interview is going to win over a lot of Glenn Beck viewers.

The man features hate mail on his own website and some of them talk about asking for his death??! How can he feature this and complain to RP?!

The interview was great, and was mostly positive in that he allowed Ron to speak his mind....what more can we ask for. The whole part of about the nutty supporters was actually a huge positive. Lets face it...many RP supporters have non-mainstream ideas, and this segment gave Ron Paul a chance to distance himself from the most extreme of his supporters. IMO this gives Ron much more crediblity in the eyes of the general public.


Note to the Extremist Ron Paul supports: Please keep your conspiracies ideas unassociated to Ron Paul. Of course no one here would deny your right to believe in what you believe, but it only hurts Ron when you try and tie your ideas to his. Let him speak for himself. We are all supporting RP because we believe in true liberty...thats what our message needs to be...not your personal beliefs.

Great post and I think this was a great interview. I gained a lot of respect for Glenn Beck and my admiration for Dr Paul only grew stronger.

What a damn good interview. Ron was able to get his points across and there was really no argueing or debating.

Glenn did a great job with the questions and agreed with, I would say, 80%.

Agreed. Glenn did what he said he would. Although I was a bit freaked out at the loony thing (I guess Beck was too, since his life was threatened) Pauls "non-violence" answer was terrific! I think he not only allayed Beck's fears, but, maybe some other people's ponderings, that maybe Ron Paul is a "kook". Ron answered calmly and clearly, but I am still certain he needs some sleep!! Loved the interview!

The interview went very well, and although I know very little about Glenn Beck, I was surprised by how often he said he agreed with Dr. Paul's response. I kept waiting for the inevitable backhanded dig but Dr. Paul held his ground quite well, and I think Mr. Beck treated him respectfully.

The more exposure Ron Paul receives, I'm convinced the more people will flock to our revolution.

It was a great interview. Anyone threatening Glen Beck's life is not a Ron Paul supporter, that is not what Ron Paul is all about.

Unfortunately? Based on what I'm reading around here, this is practically an hour-long infomercial that clears the air over a lot of controversies surrounding the campaign.

I'll have to decide for myself once someone gets it online, of course, but if it's as good as a lot of supporters are saying, this is effectively three hours of free advertising.

Not only did Glenn Beck treat Ron with respect, he LOVED him! I knew that would happen.

Glenn Beck is pro sovereignty, pro America, anti amnesty, pro constitution, has done many shows talking about the North American Union/NAFTA/WTO, etc. OF COURSE he would be impressed with Ron Paul. He has also said that RP is the closest to the Founding Fathers.

This program just picked up more votes for freedom, bet dat.

I thought the interview was fantastic. Glenn was very fair and did ask some good questions.

At first, I was iffy on those conspiracy type questions, but I think RP handled himself wonderfully. And in a way, it allowed him to officially state his beliefs in regards to them.

Kudos Glenn Beck!

Excellent interview

That was an AWESOME interview. If it wasn't for the war issue, he practically endorsed every single one of Ron Paul's positions. Even on the war, he didn't counter Dr. Paul. RP always had the last word. This was by far, one of the best, most convincing interviews I've seen. To me it's as if sat down with every American and answered their most obvious questions on his most controversial positions.

I listened to most of the interview before the feed died. Waiting to see it again...

Glenn mostly said, over and over and over, how he agreed with Dr. Paul on this or that issue. There were a few misunderstandings, which were then cleared up, but mostly it was just a bunch of agreeance on stuff.

It wasn't an awesome interview or anything, but not bad, and it was good exposure for sure.
