I think the conspiracy thing was completely called for. It is becoming a black eye and a cancer to this campaign. I have seen it first hand as well as heard about it from other people. I for one am sick of it. It does not express the views or platforms of this campaign and it should be stopped at every level of the grassroots campaign. If it is in your meetup group get rid of it. If it comes up at events get rid of it.
I just had an issue at one of our events recently where a gentleman not from our group, someone whom I never met before took it upon himself to come over to the event we were having and try to put this literature with ours thinking we would accept it with open arms. I threw it away immediately and told the rest of our members I wanted no involvement of anything that wasn't expressly endorsed by the campaign in our events, meetings, ect. You have to be firm and so what if I lose a few members, they were not worth keeping for the amount of new members they turn away that do not want to be a part of this agenda.
I also think that if your organizer is spreading this stuff they need to be removed from the group. It is becoming a serious problem that needs to be addressed as this campaign gets bigger.
