Glenn Beck Plans $2 Billion Libertarian City In Texas, Utopian Community Based On Ayn Rand

I actually have a silver and gold coin from Minerva, an island "project". It's worth about $75 now.

Rand comes out as a big Beck fan in his book

Oh come on. This beforeitsnews.com site has got to be satire, yes? Did everyone miss that? It's a pretty funny idea. And he did a good job on the write-up. All the comments here, as well as on the site itself, appear to be taking the story at face value. Alton Parrish, the writer, must be rolling on the floor at his house. Well played, sir. Well played. "[E]ven creating new forms of energy"! :D

Good.

The sea is a NWO/UN prison.

Nothing is more heavily regulated and monitored by UN mandate than commercial seafaring operations.

Proof?

Also, I'd move to Seastead or any libertarian communities, more of a high concentration in a county I guess.

Will residents be forced by the barrel of a gun to support Israel?

Yes and no -it's included in the association dues. Hey, ya live here ya deal with it. lol

What color ya like yer house? The codes only allow three choices. Red, white, or blue.

Call me crazy but I think we should stitch that pacific gyre together then plant fruit and nut trees. How about that for a free state project?

I expect we could have a thriving colony on the gyre before anyone has one on the moon or certainly on mars.

Best of luck. I hope it works, we need experiments like this considering the alternative. I doubt it'll be perfect, but I bet they wont have cameras watching you at every corner either.

Can Beck's audience survive the plane trip to Texas with their oxygen tanks? I think those things explode at high altitudes.

Not everyone wants to live in New Hampshire and assimilate to the free state version of libertarianism.

Free state version of libertarianism? There are 100s of towns in NH. The FSP doesn't dictate where people live, what they beleive or what they do.

I don't think Glenn is trying to distract from the FSP. I just think he is trying to get media coverage. If he was constantly changing things up, he would be boring and no one would pay attention to him. Ian Freeman of Free Talk Live does a bunch of unusual things to get people to pay attention to his radio show. Certainly, Alex Jones also does unusual things to get media attention. Glenn's in the same boat.
