Hi everyone, I'm new here. I've been following Paul's career for years now and adhere closely to his views on the world.

I just noticed no one has posted about this, but Glenn Beck called out Ron Paul again on his show. This was a legitimate and genuine invitation to get at the heart of Paul's views.

I've been watching Beck closely lately and I am seeing him greatly move towards the direction of Ron Paul. He is consistently agreeing with the Austrian economists he frequently invites to his show, even if he doesn't fully understand what they are talking about. He sees the problems with the country and is now starting to look at Ron Paul with a curious eye. Before he was a belligerent asshole simply because he was outraged by Paul's foreign policy, but upon learning more about Paul's platform he's starting to gain tremendous respect for him.

I think Glenn Beck can be converted and made into a huge political ally for Ron Paul. In his interview with Pat Buchanan his inability to disagree and his clear respect even for Buchanan's foreign policy positions was obvious.

Glenn Beck has made a very generous offer for 1 full hour to discuss in detail all his views. And as he said, this presents a better forum than trying to explain why you should eliminate the FBI in a 15 second sound bite with other candidates laughing at you on the stage.

GET RP ON GLENN BECK!!!!! This will be huge for his campaign.

RP should tell Beck to apologize for calling his supporters terrorists as gesture of goodwill as a first step. Failure to do that on Becks part, then just let Beck disappear down the memory hole.

Also, Beck needs to show Dr. Paul (and his supporters) the basic respect of including Dr. Paul in his online polls.

Actually, Paul's campaign should apologize to Beck for cancelling out on his show at the last minute. That is what caused all this to happen in the first place.

I think this demanding respect thing is ridiculous. Ron Paul isn't President, he needs to earn respect. He'll earn respect and set things straight by going on the show and showing how great his libertarianism is.

You can't black out the MSM and expect to win elections. Especially when you've been given a legitimate and genuine invite by probably one of the best talk show hosts on TV. Not that I agree with Beck, but it's clear Beck is interested in true discussion and has been known to change his views. He claims to be a libertarian so let's go educate and convert him!

Out of everyone on TV Beck is perhaps the one most likely to agree with Ron Paul and push his campaign. Beck has gone from being hostile of Paul to being genuinely intrigued and interested about him.

I hope he goes on Glen Beck's show just so I don't have to see yet another thread about this topic.

Why must we be so obsessed about this?

Kaizen, you obviously didnt look around very far if you think no one has posted about this. lol

He invited him last night and I see no threads on this specific invitation.

We are going to flood email the paul campaign like we flood his enemies. he's shooting himself in the foot.

Paul is a reasonable guy, and I actually think Glenn Beck would probably have an intelligent conversation with him, as opposed to saaay... Bill O'rielly

It was better he cancelled last time.

The campaign should tread carefully here . . . Beck is a sensationalist and a fringe" journalist"at best IMHO -
RP may really be better off NOT appearing in his circus.

he absolutely must go to beck's show and he should even go to o'reilly if he invites him. dr paul got some traction after nov 5 but appears to be stuck below 10% and the main reason for that is that he alienated the republican base. this makes it all the more urgent to go to mainstream republican shows and reengage this audience.

yes, these hosts will be aggressive and skeptical but that is only one more reason to prepare well and not avoid them. if dr paul performs successfully at their shows that would be worth thousand of successful appearances on shows by hosts which are sympathetic to him. the audience from those shows is already on our side. now is the time to go back to the republican base without which we simply can not win the nomination of the republican party.

I think he should go on oreilly again, why not? Even oreilly supporters know he's not fair and balanced, and if they do think he's fair an balanced those are the viewers who will die with their current mindset. There's no downside to going on that show. Ron Paul is as smart and witty as Oreilly, just a tad more polite, so if Ron goes in with guns blazing he'll do some serious damage.

Ron Paul should take him up on it.... Period, end of discussion. No apologies from either side, they both acted like children. We need air time, and like he said, it's a full hour on cable TV and all RP has to do is say "yes" and actually show up this time.

I love Paul, i hate Beck, but it's a needless source of poor publicity and going on the show would do what no poll, apology, or anything else could ever do.....actually turn an enemy into a friend. Isn't that what this is all about?

Call the campaign and suggest it, end of discussion.

Glen Beck Boycott

A Youtube video is not a legitiamate invitation. If Glen Beck wants to invite Ron Paul to come on his show, first he needs to apologize on his show to Ron Paul on all his supporters for calling us terrorists. After he has made a significants effort to make amends and he stops spewing his hatefull propganda and changes to format of his demagouging show. Then he can get in touch with Ron Paul on the phone and book him the way he books his other guests. Until that happens the boycott of Glenn Beck, CNN and all of their sponsors continues. Judging by the responses we are having by the sponsors. Ratings are down. His book sales are dismal and now his show is on the chopping block. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

I would be worried that this will be a hit job just like CNN pulled at the debates.

Invite the most popular candidate on youtube to a youtube debate and the only two questions he gets are the equivalent of "why are you nuts?" and "what are you going to do since you lost?". Imagine what someone like Beck is capable of. I have been watching his show and he has expressed strong support for Ron Paul's views, but after what CNN and other MSM outlets have pulled recently, I have to wonder about intentions and motivations for everything they do.

Remember, Tucker Carlson claims to have voted for Ron Paul and to support him currently but is also reported to be behind the Dennis Hof endorsement, which is of no help whatsoever.

With all the money that Ron Paul now has, and the primaries looming I tend to think it might be wise to avoid Mr. Beck until we see how things go in the early primaries. There should be enough money in the war chest to be competitive.

Do well in those early states and Mr. Beck can stick it where the sun dont shine, Is probably the wise thing to do.

What I would really like to see though is for Dr. Paul to go in there and let Glenn Beck have it. If he pulls the Bill O routine where he does not let Dr. Paul talk, he should do his best Ronald Reagan imitation though...grab the microphone or even better just get up and tell him the interview is over and walk out.

Ron needs to do the show. He needs to show that he'll go toe-to-toe with Beck for an hour, and he needs the publicity. If Ron can't handle it he should get out of the race. But, of course, he can.
