Glenn Beck endorses Cruz for president 2016

It's a Glennnnn Beccck thread! Woohoo! Time to drop an Ef Bomb!

Fuck Glen Beck.

I try to do that in every GB thread.

GB will throw his support behind Rand, then Cruz, then the ticket clerk at the movie theater, until landing back with Frothy, mark my fucking words...no matter what, however, Beck is going to play his role. Controlled opposition? Nah, just a net cast by fishers of men to snare idiots. Lots will listen and be misled by this man. This is the beginning of the process. And to think, just weeks ago, I posted in a thread where I had to begrudgingly show approval for something the man said...the guy is toilet paper.

for some reason, Glenn Beck wanting to suck Cruz's cock makes me feel better.
He can put the dagger in his back on the even years.

This is a real problem for the liberty movement, people don't seem willing to share the spotlight at all. We'd all be cheerleading Rand like there is no tomorrow if he were out there and this was his idea but since it's Ted Cruz he's obviously an establishment plant and secret Trotskyite hell bent on derailing Rand's future presidential run in 2016 by stealing his thunder by being even more extreme. I imagine the same people freaking out about Ted Cruz are the same people that freaked out about Gary Johnson.

Rand and Ted are allies and if Ted does run in 2016 which I am not convinced he will, I think it will help Rand. If you can support Ted Cruz then it shouldn't be that much of a stretch to support Rand and I hope that Ted would endorse Rand if he were to run and drop out since I know Rand would. I'd much rather have Cruz and Rand polling near the top of the field than just Rand and Rubio + Bush + Christie + Ryan.

The biggest Rand fans on here generally support what Cruz is doing and accept him as a positive presence in the Senate. It's the same core group of Rand haters, conspiracy theorists, and anarchists that find fault with Cruz. Their ire just happens to be focused on him at the moment instead of Rand.

Wrong. There are plenty of Rand supporters who are distrustful of Cruz due to his hawkishness.

Cruz is the guy TPTB will use to stop Rand.

The hardest part of it is he seems like such an ally but is being set up to be a major Brutus imo.

Oh my....now if you don't like Cruz you're a "Rand hater".

Its a lot more nuanced than that.

For instance, I sometimes criticize Rand, and sometimes praise Ted Cruz. As a holistic whole, however, I can't support Cruz. I do support Rand, despite the fact that I'm sometimes critical.

It's really comes down to the seen verses the unseen. Since Cruz won the primary over the establishment choice of Dewhurst you don't get to see Dewhurst throwing in with McCain, Graham, and Ayotte. You should feel lucky we got Cruz, since electing the corpse of Murray Rothbard wasn't a possibility.

Once again, lesser of two evils thinking. You've got to understand that some of us reject that on principle.

I don't believe that. Cruz has been a net good all things considered.

OK, I don't agree with that. He's so hawkish, and that's honestly a basic moral issue for me. Murdering innocent people overseas is far more serious to me than taxes and regulation. Sue me.

Do you believe Hitler and Cruz to be the same?

Of course not. But I'd still vote for a candidate that I actually could support:p

What's the difference between the two?

Well, Hitler's dead:p

And what NIU said.

But seriously, I'm not accusing Ted Cruz of wanting to start another Holocaust. I'm also not accusing him of wanting to create a Nazi dictatorship. Although I do view him, like most pro-military Republicans, as being fundamentally fascistic.

That said, unless I had a chance at being the deciding vote, I still wouldn't vote for Ted Cruz over Hitler. I'd stand on principle and write Ron Paul in:p

You Cruz-hater, you. :p

I don't like him either, and for a lot of the same reasons.
