well..i don't think it went to heck...the title says Glenn Beck is....and we are filling in the blanks with our thoughts. I hate CNN who is in the tank for OBAMMY...they are so far from libertarianism it's not even funny. Fox at least is 80% in agreement with libertarians...Glenn Beck is 90% in line and Napolitano is right on...nobody on CNN can touch these guys...although Lou Dobbs is ok sometimes.. tones

Interesting argument to use in trying to convince us that a mainstream talking head is really, truly on our side (even though we know better from listening to him). Actually, this group is more likely to miss an important trend from habitually ignoring fads.

Beck is at the beginning of his libertarian journey. Even he admits it. When John Stossel was on his show last week, Beck asked how long he had been a libertarian. John said about 20 yrs. Beck replied "I'm a new libertarian." So he knows he's on a journey and he knows where it's going to lead him. He just may not be ready to admit exactly what that means. It's not easy to realize all at once that everything you know is wrong. Eventually, he'll come to accept non-intervention, drug legalization, and all the other "crazy" things we advocate.

However, he could easily be detoured back in the wrong direction. Another terrorist attack or some charismatic candidate could turn him back into a neocon.

I tried watching Glen Beck's show on Fox News, but he had on some anti-immigrant hate monger, so I switched the channel to CNBC and never came back.

I still listen to his radio show in the morning sometimes, though. There he seems to spend less time hatemongering and more time pointing out the flaws of liberal economic ideas.

do not get me wrong ,they all suck. i was a fox viewer. i actually have fox blocked on all my cable boxes now. almost to the point of blocking cnn and msnbc. i do like rachel maddow some, she at least gives ron paul respect. but every other show to me is less credible then john stewart

beck is kinda like the battlestar commander, he just follows the evil empires orders!!! beck is no luke,but he should lose more then a hand!!

i can tell you this anyone i am trying to win over to the gop, the last thing i would ever mention is becks name or show. beck might be a positive for the sheeple neo-cons republicans and sheeple in the gop,but beck is not someone i would use to hold up the ron paul revolution or promote for voters to flock to the gop!!

the gop has a serious brandname issue,until they realize ron paul is the leader of the gop and the new platform that must come! if the gop does not listen soon the gop will be a 3rd party,you can count my vote on that one

3rd Party? One could argue that Ron Paul is a sellout for being a Republican, could they not?
Then maybe I'm a little more accepting of Beck for a number of reasons.
