She is looking at purchasing a bunch of signs so we can put them out and sign wave but want to get the most bang for the buck. I am maxed out already.

Has anyone purchased the window sign versus the yard sign.

Window Sign = $2 in bulk - 14" x 22" made of "weather-proof poly-board".
Yard Sign = $4 in bulk with stake - 12" x 24" made of "corrugated plastic".

Question is, since they are roughly the same size and I can make my own stakes for about $0.90 (masonry ladder wire), are you able to put a stake in the window sign? I'm not familiar with the poly-board material.

If you could somehow glue the stakes to the back of the sign it might work... but the window sign is a lot more flimsy than the yard sign, so it'll bend a bit when the wind blows. If you really wanna do it on the cheap, make a stencil out of the window sign and then use latex paint on cardboard... it'll break down a bit more with the weather but it should cost less per sign and be easier to hang up.

The corrugated plastic has little slots between the layers to insert the metal steaks into, and are much more rigid than window signs. Both are good for their intended uses. Window sign would probably be too flimsy to use as a makeshift yard sign.

If you are putting them outside go with the yardside FOR SURE. The rally signs will break or warp in one rainstorm. They are beautiful for the window and you can flip them around if you want white or blue.

If you want something cheaper they have the plastic bag type sign. However, those are rather cheap and rip easily.
