Girl who survived Obama drone attack is younger than his daughter

That can be better answered by rpfocus but unlikely to find such bias here with vast majority being of libertarian/anti-war mindset.
Both politicos seem to be SWCs even if only one of them was awarded Nobel Peace Prize by puppet masters.

Obama's Afghan Legacy: More Civilian Deaths - Huffington Post

Mar 10, 2011 - Obama Afghan Civilians ... one negative result is indisputable: the war has grown deadlier for Afghan civilians. ..... Obama is bush on steroids.

Obama More Deadly for Afghan Civilians than Bush
Feb 2, 2009 - RAWA News: Much official ado has been made in Washington D.C. and in the U.S. corporate press about how the new Administration will be ...

If the kindest words we can muster for Bush is "You managed not to kill as many innocent civilians with airstrikes as your successor", then that hardly is a Pro-Bush statement. That's all I'm saying, if that was what rpfocus was getting hung up on.

The Mass Torture of Obama's Drone Strikes

05/04/2015 12:07 pm EDT

Leon Trotsky once said: "you may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you." Unfortunately, that is true for the two innocent hostages -- one American, one Italian -- that were killed accidentally in a January 2015 CIA drone strike near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

Warren Weinstein, a 73-year-old American aid worker, and Giovanni Lo Porto, a 37-year-old Italian citizen both died in a strike that targeted a compound linked to Al-Qaeda. Ahmed Farouq, an Al-Qaeda leader and a U.S. citizen, was also killed in the same strike.
In a brief press conference last Thursday morning, President Barack Obama took "full responsibility" and apologized for the death of the two hostages.
"I profoundly regret what happened," Obama said. "On behalf of the United States government, I offer our deepest apologies to the families."
Weinstein and Lo Porto's death mark the first known instance in which a U.S. drone strike accidentally killed hostages. But it certainly isn't the first time innocent civilians have been killed. Many men, women, and children in the Middle East have seen their loved ones blown to pieces by American drone strikes.
In October 2012, a young girl named Nabila Ur Rehman was tending to her cow in the family compound when she witnessed the slaughtering of her grandmother by a drone, right in front of her eyes. The trauma she must have experienced, and the fear that she continues to live with is unfathomable.
Forget waterboarding, a drone strike is torture.

Pastor leads GOP convention in chant, 'All lives matter!'

Chants of "All Lives Matter!" filled the arena at the Republican National Convention Thursday — a not-so-subtle jab at the Black Lives Matter movement that calls attention to police violence against African-Americans.

CLEVELAND Chants of "All Lives Matter!" filled the arena at the Republican National Convention Thursday — a not-so-subtle jab at the Black Lives Matter movement that calls attention to police violence against African-Americans.
Leading the chant was a pastor from South Carolina — Mark Burns, who is black. He said Donald Trump won't "pander" to one race.
"I want to declare to the whole world and to the Republican Party that under a Donald Trump administration, all lives matter," Burns said. "That means black lives, white lives, Hispanic lives, Asian lives, Christian lives, Muslim lives. Shout with me! All lives matter!"

Edward Snowden
@Snowden
Daniel Hale, one of the great American Whistleblowers, was just moments ago sentenced to four years in prison. His crime was telling this truth: 90% of those killed by US drones are bystanders, not the intended targets. He should have been given a medal.

Drone whistleblower Daniel Hale is being sentenced right now in an Eastern District of Virginia courtroom. He faces years in prison for following his conscience and serving as a source on incredibly newsworthy stories.

Ex-Air Force intelligence analyst gets 45 months for leaking secrets about drone program in Afghanistan
Daniel Hale described his regret and horror as he saw gruesome videos of Afghans killed

In February 2014, after leaving the Air Force and becoming a contractor at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, Hale gave classified documents to The Intercept. The documents contained details about so-called U.S. kill lists and especially civilian victims of the drone attacks, which in some cases allegedly amount to war crimes. In August 2014, the FBI raided his home in Lorton, Virginia, in what he described as retribution for his political activism. In 2016, he appeared in the documentary film National Bird, where he described his crisis of conscience and the FBI raid.

In court, Hale said he accepted punishment for taking the documents and for taking innocent lives. Noting that he is a descendant of Nathan Hale, executed for spying on the British for the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War, Hale paraphrased his ancestor's reported last words, saying, "I have but this one life to give in service of my country."

When I post this on a liberal board, they dismiss it because its Obama.

He used to have strong fan following. To give credit where due, shortly after being called "Founding Father of ISIS" by Trump, he's managed to rebuild his image and get back in community service campaigns:

A new ad campaign features former President Obama urging Americans to get COVID-19 vaccines.
