Gingrich will flop soon...here's why

its deeper than that. Something has changed. I want to say its the internet. My theory is that every time one of these candidates surges in the polls, people start googling him or her. Then the people see all the dirty laundry. Its why we see a surge, followed by a dip a few week later. It has accelerated! In just 4 years the internet has gotten so important. Remember when they'd joke about Paul being the president of the internet? You don't hear that poppycock no more! In the last 4 years, have you noticed how newspapers and magazines have died. And blogs have risen? We are witnessing some history for sure...Confucius say, "may you live in interesting times."

I agree to an extent, but if that was the case on a mass scale, a person like Obama never would have become President. A majority of people just do not seem to want to wake up to reality, because it would destroy everything they have believed in their entire lives.

Yes, all the hard work we did in 2007/2008 is finally paying off.

The plan is working, keep Ron Paul telling the truth as he has for the last 34 years in public office, and let the internet do the rest.

Just like the printing press broke the back of the Catholic Church and gave rise to the enlightenment, the internet is just beginning to be felt as a positive change for good in the world.

2012 will be the year it will become obvious to everyone in the world.

And Ron Paul won the internet years ago...

Ron Paul wins the General Election and the world, as we know it, comes to an end. In 2013 there is a new age, predicted by the Mayans. :p

Actually putting it in blogger comments provides no benefits for search traffic. All blogger comments have no-follow tags. If you want link impact to count to you need to link to content from a legitamate web site from the most quality page possible. I personally think we should be link to the Ron Paul Newt video. It's catchy and gets people thinking. The video is currently at about position 65 in Google. It wouldn't take to much to drive it up if enough quality links were pointing to it. (I've had years of SEO experience in case you are wondering how I know this stuff).

I haven't read anything in this thread but the title -- I discovered it while looking for something else.

Unless all three pages agreed lock-step with the premise, it MUST be a case study of Right and Wrong . . . not in the sense of Good vs. Bad, but Correct vs. Incorrect.

Plus Nancy Pelosi has some little chunk of blackmail hanging over him that she says she will release if he get the nomination.

I have been told by Ron Paul Supporters, in a few years, that I don't know what I'm talking about oftener than the charge has been leveled at me in a half-century. I am the first to admit that Life has NOT panned out as I expected, so maybe y'all ARE way smarter than me. Take everything I say with salt ALL the way around the rim.

Me? I think Newt Gingrich doesn't have AND NEVER HAD a prayer of being elected. THAT much dirt. Almost INEVITABLE that he'll be taken down, if he doesn't self-combust first. He may even get a perverse kind of sympathy. FOR AWHILE, IT SEEMED THAT AMERICANS FORGAVE HIS SINS (OR OVERLOOKED THEM) TO EMBRACE HIS FINE MIND AND BIG IDEAS, BUT THEN "SUDDENLY" THINGS TOOK A 180.

Because Newt Gingrich is NOTORIOUS for self-combusting, that can happen whenever Whoever decides.

Meanwhile, Romney seems to me to have regrouped, and calibrated his game some. [Unless it is ALL prearranged.] "Naturally", more and more dirt on Gingrich makes Romney look better and better.

B-b-b-but Ron Paul is even MORE [fill in the blank] than Romney!! Ron Paul has been married to his wife for..., ...pro bono medical service..., ...more donations from Active Duty...blah blah blah, yada yada yada. Don't tell ME.

Y'all claim Ron Paul is WAY better than the other candidates. Y'all claim Ron Paul is MUCH more ethical, MUCH more logical, MUCH more fiscally sound, MUCH more informed about and committed to our Constitution. I ask, who doesn't want all THAT? For whatever reason, for SOME reason, the exceptionalism of the Man (I say the MESSAGE) is not reaching or resonating with the Necessary Numbers.

I am all for Ron Paul staying IN the race and, from what I understand, he IS able to do that. But I believe that blindly soldiering on AS IS . . . we're exactly where we wanna be, so just lose the negativity . . . is FOLLY.

My take is that freedom is not popular. The benefits of freedom are popular and the costs of tyranny are unpopular, but because all of the negatives in our current society are being blamed on "free market capitalism" and "greed", the wrong solutions are being arrived at. People get a whiff of real freedom and the pathway in their brain containing the "laissez faire is unfair" that was taught from grammar school history class and on is strongly activated.

Freedom requires responsibility, and individual people don't seem to have any faith that "other people" or "people in general" are competent enough to handle this responsibility and society would somehow plummet into the dark ages if such freedom was granted. People I talk to often admit that they would not personally use illicit drugs if they were decriminalized, but surely such an option couldn't be afforded to the "stupid" masses without complete chaos ensuing. Our entire society seems very happy with the idea that highly intellectual and competent elites make the decisions and protect the ignorant from their unfortunate inability to forge their own path through life.

I personally think this attitude in and of itself is elitist and misguided. However, it is possible that our society is simply too ignorant of and apathetic about the complex inner-workings of the modern system and simply isn't capable or willing to discover how people are being marginalized. Over time, it seems humans find ways to consistently reorganize so that an opportunistic minority can benefit by ruling over the majority. This movement is fighting more of an uphill battle than many of the participants would like to admit, but that doesn't at all diminish the importance of what is being done or diminish the responsibility of educated people to fight for change.

Guys. Can we google bomb a negative Newt site or not? If millions of people are googling his name it could be huge

http://notonewt.com/

Google is hip to that, somewhat. However, in this case, the site has relevant gingrich info so it may work. Who owns that site? You? If not, do you have a way to contact the owner? He needs to replace the word "He" every so often with either Newt or Gingrich, or Newt Gingrich. In order for google to recognize that the site is about Newt, it has to read text that says Newt. Get iit?

Then you have to target the links to the keywords, Newt Gingrich:

Newt Gingrich

[ URL="http://notonewt.com/" ]Newt Gingrich[ /URL ]

can someone get another Drudge screen shot? it's even worse for newt right now.
