Newt Gingrich Gingrich FAILS to qualify for Virginia primary

So I wonder, who will the undecided vote for? Will they vote for Paul because he is the anti-Romney? Or will they vote for Romney because they simply don't like Paul? HOpefully we can change more minds here by then.

Phone from home, canvassing, sign waving and EVERYTHING else that can be done needs to be done. =)

This rules. PA's primary is later, so if VA needs help in the weeks leading up, we can easily get there en masse.

What does that mean? He can't do what if he's not on the ballot?

Now do people realize how incredible it was to get Harry Browne on the ballot in ALL 50 states and THEN they wouldn't let him in the debates? It's so fking corrupt.

I thought I read that Newt had submitted 13,000 signatures. (please correct me if that's not the case)

What I wonder then, shouldn't he be accused of criminal manipulation of elections?

He submited just over 11k. But over a thousand of them were ruled invalid by the VA GOP, so he didn't meet the requirements, same as Perry.

Merry Christmas!

Chill, it freaking Newt Gingrich the most corrupt politician in modern american history.

EVERYONE in the Virginia GOP establishment will come out for Romney. Watch and see. Not that that's a bad thing. ;)

Don't cry Newt, there are 49 states to go, you are bound to have actual support in at least 2 or 3.

I would have to agree that Virginia is unwinnable. All of the feds and their contractors work there. I don't think most of these people are going to vote for someone who wants to take away their gravy train:

ZZ --- Virginia is wide open with ole Newt out. Mitt's monolith can be cracked open
or even sent into a stately decline. You are very wrong, either way. Mitt looses VA.

Or that might actually be why Ron Paul will win?

Anti-Government Paul Reaps Biggest GOP Haul From Federal Workers
Ron Paul, the presidential candidate who says he’ll shrink government the most, is attracting more campaign cash than any of his Republican rivals from two unlikely sources: U.S. government workers and employees of the biggest federal contractors.
