http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/us/republican_presidential_nomination-1452.html

take a look at the blue line and the somewhat out of place "9" with a couple 6's ready to drop off and the 5 being the daily updadted gallup (of which Pauls #s arent making any sense lately comming off a 2nd in NH).

Maybe not.. its Perry for petes sake. But learn from Iowa and NH with Santorum & Huntsman the power of the media push.

Perry=Bilderberg=Backed by the big corporations & corporate sellout=EVIL!

Many seem to have either forgotten or are simply not aware of this.

Romney vs. Perry vs. Paul = BAD as perry could come off as both anti-Romney AND the Paul alternative even though he is no more genuine or a patriot than Obama was or is.

I hope you're wrong. Someone told me she thought Perry looks drunk in all his public appearances, debate appearances, etc. The jury's out on that, but he definitely does appear to be dumb. I also think his "re-invade Iraq" statement at the last debate is not going to do anything good for his campaign.

I've been thinking they'd try to push a Perry "Comeback Kid" campaign in SC. I don't think it will work - they pushed Hunstman for NH and he was a distant 3rd, I don't think they can do any better by trying to shove Perry down our throats.. we'll see.

Yes, he may be their last hope, and why Fox had to break their own rules to allow him in the next debate.

I'm actually looking forward to it..

With the recent polling of RP in contention for 1/2/3.. an unsuccessful Perry push would help cement our "anti-Romney" status -- It will be great if it looks like this --

Hopefully it will get santorum and huntsman out of the race, and gettingrich and perry will limp along... Only worry is Perry continuing to surge and taking FL.. but we have a firewall at NV

Mitt 28%
RP - 24%
Grinch - 18%
Perry - 18%
Santorum - 10%
Huntsman - 2%

CNN may wish to push Perry, but the problem with that is Rick Perry. He is the class clown of the candidates.

To CNN: Wish in one hand....poop in the other....then see which one fills up first!!

Perry has just proven to be too damn dumb to gain any traction at this point. Seems the establishment greatly underestimated Paul and may literally have no idea what to do at this point.

I always like to think of Perry as a closet Ron Paul guy, but his family is being held hostage if he doesn't do the NWO's bidding and run for pres. SO he's intentionally blowing it, making RP look good, remember the oops moment? who benefited from that? Ron Paul.

So that way, Rick can do the deed and pretend he's just incompetent, so his family lives.

haha, believe me I could write comedy if I had the time. But I think this is just a way to blow off steam. Especially since people like Perry are so pathetic you almost feel bad for them.

People recycle plastic bottles into park benches, and I do not see Perry becoming a park bench.

What happened to RS in South Carolina? I thought he had been doing really well and had anticipated the media surging him.

I wouldn't push the Bilderberg angle. Most people have no idea what that is. There are plenty of policy decisions to hang him on.

Perry's been hanging out with Diane Sawyer a lot lately.

RP's ad against him probably tanked him, because people saw he is a fraud...which is why I don't/didn't understand why the campaign didn't point out his fake record in Iowa when we saw him rising 2 weeks before the final vote because of free media.

3 things:

1. He came in 5th in NH
2. We've got ads about him
3. He's Rick Santorum! Seriously, people are getting a look at this guy and not liking what they see. He's been at the bottom of the polls for a reason. The 'surge' pre-Iowa was manufactured.

Palin-->Trump-->Bachmann-->Perry-->Cain-->Newton-->Romney-->Santorum-->Huntsman-->Perry

In order of the (potential) candidates the MSM has tried to push to the top :D.

Shoot, if they are replaying the surge schedule, after Perry's second time around, are they going to resurrect Cain's campaign, or skip directly to Newt? :)

I think the corporate agenda is still working out who the surge candidate will be. The Grinch vs romney (coke vs Pepsi level competition) could be the whole angle as they attempt to completely ignore RP minus the smears similar to NH. Only this time Grinch is already polling soundly in SC as opposed to dragging Huntsman from neverland. However if RP appears to be leapfrogging the Grinch then a Perry or Santorum resurrection is a possibility. Santorum would be a difficult sales job but not impossible as we witnessed in IA. Perry has not caught much attention in forever and in doing so his record may appear clean for enough time. They could sell the former military stuff, along the whole southern gentleman thing, along with governing TX is like presiding over a fairly large country, and of course DC outsider angle as he was attempting to articulate in the last couple of debates. Perry's previous failures in IA and NH plus how low he is polling in SC combined with poor speaking skills and general lack of energy suggest this won't work any better than Huntsman in NH.

In summary I see a Newt vs romney showdown, building up like a super bowl event for the mainstream fed political geeks. In hopes that their two boys can finish in the high 20's or better with RP somewhere 5% lower then either making him a non-story. With the exception of the narrative probably being that RP has a ceiling of 23% or lower in open primaries, so in republican only ones he is a non-factor. Just my hunch, and for record if RP continues to defy the media swats next Saturday could be one heck of a 3 man race for first.
