And today we've had two countries warn of the possibility of national bankruptcy. Iceland and Pakistan.

I'm done pretending this is something we're getting through... time to buy a gun and an axe.

Get food and supplies first. Otherwise you're going to be spending all your gold and silver on them. Although a gun is not a bad idea. :(
 
We have got to drop our "service economy".

First and foremost we need to grow food. We need to put an end to farm subsidies and the first to go have to be the subsidies that pay farmers to grow NOTHING (to keep prices up)

Then we need to manufacture: Homes, clothing, and other goods.

If we get back to these basics, pull back from our worldwide empire and protect our borders, we can still get thru this mess OK.

We don't need homes, we need to stop propping up home prices. We have tons of homes and cars, we don't need anymore.
 
point is this country needs to start supplying ourselves with our own stuff, whether food, clothes, whatever.... cuz if we cant afford to import were really screwed :(

and when other countries stop taking our $ then there will be little to no imports

Thankfully, we're at least self-sufficient when it comes to food. Sure, it may be genetically modified and half-artificial, but...it's American. ;)

Where's Karzai and the US dictated NAT GAS and OIL Pipelines to Pakistan?

Oh, failed covert US operations in just about everyone of the countries we occupy or pull the strings of Puppet govertments (pakistan, Georgia, Iraq, etc)

Just shows you that government FEEDS THEMSELVES FIRST AND FOREMOST...

Don't you love O'bama's BS about, "We have a crisis, and we have the money to fix this problem if executed correctly." Leading the path to SUCKING more money out of the people... more debt, more FAST FORWARD the debt to future generations...

I'll be posting a writeup on my research on the FUSE that was lit on this global abyss of debt.

yeah homes was a bad example. I just mean we need to start producing our own goods again, manufacturing in general.
 
Im hoping the whole damn system crashes so I can laugh long and hard.

My family has a nice little plot of land in the middle of nowhere. We know how to farm, hunt and we have fresh drinking water on site.

MANUFACTURING/Production/private sector jobs lost 160K jobs

GOVERNMENT, racking up TRILLIONS in DEBT this year...

GOVERNMENT, grew buy 9000 jobs this year...

Multiple STATE GOVERNMENTS are running MULTI-BILLION dollar deficits.

WE ARE ALL WITNESSING the modern day IMPERIAL ROMAN EMPIRE grinding it's wheels in place to a halt.

The clowns in Washington DC will SELLOUT our National Soverirgnty in many forms to maintain their wealth and power.

You are absolutely correct. We need Victory Gardens...but they have taken control of the farming seeds and now you need to purchase seeds every year in order to keep planting them.

Avocadoes are the thing that you would survive on if you were on a desert island with only one choice of food. Take two to three yrs to fruit tho.

I agree that if I had only one food, I could not only survive, but thrive on avocadoes alone.
