Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Iowa

Exactly, precisely, quite frankly there hasn't been a better explanation of our strategy on this forum ever. This is the key to our strategy, and the reason theyve played their cards so close to their vest is because we have enough ID'd voters to win! Every action we've taken in recent days suggest that this is the case, and if it is we need to make around 31,000 calls in the next couple days! Keep calling folks!

Dont be too sure about that.

If they are strong supporters of another candidate, the supporter would not need to ask them to go. If they are soft supporters, they could easily swing to Paul to support their fam/friend (or more importantly because Paul is right!)
 
I AM PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE IOWA GOTV CALLS HAVE NOW BEEN LOADED. LET'S HIT THE PHONE LINES PEOPLE!!!!!
 
Gah if the Phone From Home People are watching this thread - there's a bug. After I leave a voicemail it tells me to click "make another call" or "enough for now" but on my screen there aren't those options (it lists the next call and the script instead)

This needs to be fixed!

Guys something is SERIOUSLY wrong. I just called a woman and I told her I was a volunteer with Ron Paul and she SCREAMED at me "TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST, THIS IS THE FIFTH CALL I'VE GOTTEN IN THE LAST 20 MINUTES"

I'm not making one more damn phone call unless I know for sure we aren't bugging people. I want to win votes not lose votes.

What is going on?
 
CALLL IOWA IS OPEN. The script is long so take some time to read it and take it in. I have already found 1 suppporter going to caucus for ROn Paul.!!

Probably the same person I got. Possibly the first one on the list. Was it actually the person or an associate? The person I got was an associate and I am not taking them off the list until the actual person says so.

There are some glitches once in awhile. I recommend that you just roll with it. They can't tell who's calling so just be as polite as possible, accommodate them, and move on. Call, call, call. :)

Yeah, bugging people could be a problem. GOTV is imperative but it could be damaging to spam these alleged supporters non-stop all the way through tomorrow. I encountered a lot of this back in '08 while phone banking as well in '10 for Brown (don't ask). Hope they fix whatever the issue is before this gets out of control.
