Georgia trying to take NC and TN land...SOUNDS LIKE THE NAFTA SUPERHIGHWAY TO ME!

FYI it is Senator Schaffer from Ga who is sponsoring the bill.....Also.... THis is NWO's dream to pit state against state for instability and for us to cry out for help from the Feds who will end up only taking our civil liberties.

Hell, we have a drought here in NC too! Just last night I saw a commercial on tv with the governor telling everyone to please conserve water, and they have been talking about the drought in the news nonstop for the past half year or so.

Hmmm... if there isn't enough water to sustain people, then it seems to me like the property values should go up.

I know! We just put down wildfires here in Western NC! The problem is that they were keeping the NC stuff hush, hush until my local paper broke the story. I think that when Ga met with Al and Fl in the summer with Bush, they devised a plan that we wouldn't see coming. Especially if you live in NC....call all the congress people, governor, senators and state senators. Let them know we have to take a stand and a Supreme Court decision could be tainted by Bush...as well as our NC governor is Dem., so they probably all wanted to keep NC in the dark! This is an outrage.

Are we sure this isn't in response to the crap they faced as a result of the drought they just got out of. Their major reservoirs were being screwed with by federal mandates (EPA), because of an endangered species that lived down stream... they had no property rights to their own resources, and as a result they were dangerously close to having almost no usable water left.

Of course it is a result of the drought conditions that still exist for both NC and GA...the point is that Georgia this dispute was settled over 150 years ago. End of story. Ask for help don't bully us with threats of the Supreme Court. Especially when Ga. is working with Jeb Bush and the Supreme Court is stacked with Bushies! They can buy water from TN and NC if that is the issue...Georgia is wealthier than both NC and TN. Atlanta grew too fast and Ga gov't is looking to pin it on another state other than their own failure to foresee water shortages in the south. My husbands father worked for the CDC water and sewer management and has been railing about this issue for the last 10 years...even proposed a double use sewer to recycle non-drinking water...and no one listened...Now they want what is not theirs...greed!

Two sets of my Great Grandparents were Cherokee Nation. Tennessee and North Carolina took their land. If Georgia gets it, turn around is fair play.

I have a feeling this is all about the extreme drought Georgian's are in. If Lanier were to run out of water there would be a crisis in Atlanta. I don't believe this has anything to do w/ the NAU or NAFTA.

The idea that the NWO is tring to brew trouble between the states is a new slant on their conspiracy to break down our society that I hadn't thought of. It would'nt surprise me if it were true, but I'm not in the habit of looking for conspriacy every where I look......

thanks for posting this, since it is important for us all to keep an eye on no matter which thing it concerns at the moment. if we dont pay attention to these things we could loose our land to some sort of highway o other related thing, and could loose our water rights on our own property.

I think Dawn is right and this is a land grab that leads to control over precious resources and thus a power play by the elete. You know, I don't think I'm off base when I say that there has always been something "special" about Georgia. Why do I say That?? It was on the news in Nashville that our state legislature introduced a bill that would protect the S. border of TN & that our legislature will not be negotiating with the Georgia legislature on the matter.
