Ron Paul Supporters...please keep your eye on this radical move to secure natural resources by Georgia. They have a bill on the table that would take thousands of acres to secure water from both NC and TN. If TN and NC don't "work it out" and give Ga land, it goes to the Supreme Court. What I am concerned about is that the NC Governor and Congress people did not even know about the attempt to take NC's 8000 acres (in my county). I am also increasingly alarmed at the fact that GA, FL and AL already came up with this solution in the summer and have had time to fix the Supreme Court votes (which are Bush appointees).

I smell a rat and it reminds be of the beginning of WWI when Japan took Manchurian land to secure natural resources...not to mention how radical it is to re-distribute land. It also reminds me of what is happening to the Nafta Super Highway....even if it does get built and the Texans get rid of all the scoundrels who passed the highway without a vote, they are disposable candidates and will be rewarded at the national level. Please be vigilant in your state and call on your congress people to stand up for NC, TN and TX. If other states do not call out for accountably...all of our property will eventually be owned by NWO....which spells OWN backwards.

Also do not vote for the evil politicians even if there is no other choice. (Write in Paul)....Stand Firm and Guard your Property RiGHTS. Call your Congress people and ask them to call NC/TN/TX governor in support of the INDIVIDUAL! ALSO RAISE HELL ABOUT THESE PROPERTY ISSUES EVERYWHERE:confused: YOU GO! INFORMATION IS POWER!!!

The NAFTA Superhighway is going from Mexico to Canada. Georgia doesn't border either.
Also, Georgia is not another country.

I am referring to the radical re-distribution of land and resources...whether it be to another state, individual or for a wider conspiracy like the NAU!

I have a feeling this is all about the extreme drought Georgian's are in. If Lanier were to run out of water there would be a crisis in Atlanta. I don't believe this has anything to do w/ the NAU or NAFTA.

Yep just went and read the actual article and that's what it is all about. I live in Atlanta and trust me this water thing is a BIG BIG BIG deal!!!

Then why would they threaten us without communicating with Governor Easley. If Georgia would have planned their population growth better...they would not be in this situation. Why should they bully NC...instead of ask for help? They met this summer with AL and FL....Jeb Bush is GW's Bro...you tell me they haven't fixed the Supreme Court in their favor! So you are saying you trust Jeb and George Bush not to screw NC and TN...give me a break and help us...if you do not...then you are part of the problem!

I don't care where you live....you have no right to our resources by threats....My husband is from GA too and he doesn't believe in taking our land!

Actually if you read the article it is our land. We are just taking it back. It also has nothing to do with planning. You can not plan for a drought through population control.

You need to understand the wars in the future will not be about oil they will be about water. This is just the start.

If you would read the article...you would see that the issue was dealt with 150 years ago and NC won the battle. Tn is the one who is in violation of your border...not NC. You should be angry with GEORGIA FOR NOT BEING A GOOD STEWARD OF YOUR NATURAL RESOURCES.

Wow...I hope you didn't mean that the way it came out.

NC didn't win any battle. All it said was Ellicot's work was found to be ill-founded. Which means he didn't have GPS and couldn't find where the line was exactly. If it says the 35th parrellel it's the 35th parrellel...No if's and's or but's about it. The only thing is it's been a really long time. I didn't say I agree or disagree with it, I was just telling you what it is about! NOT THE NAU OR NAFTA!!!! Too many stupid consipricy theorists on here.

Let me ask you this. How has Georgia not been a good steward of their natural resources? Also, How can Georgia magically bring rain and keep drought from happening?

I believe we could have kept more water in Lake Lanier, but the mussells at the end of the river are a protected species and it took hell and high water to get them to say "Fuck the mussells", that was all due to political red tape that they couldn't do anything about. Other than that extreme water bans which we have had since summer is the only other thing you can do. Most car washes have been shut down because they don't use recycled water. I mean we are working on the issue, but you can't just make it rain. This is a natural disaster not due to bad planning. PLEASE DON'T USE STUPID LOGIC FOR A NATURAL DISASTER!

Actually I did. I don't mean we will be at war with North Carolina...even though NC said they need to send a militia down there...who knows...water is bigger than people think it is, we have always just taken it for granted in the past.

At least we are off the idiotic theory of this is the NAU or NAFTA related!

EDIT: TN said they need to send the militia not NC.

the only thing I would change is the word "our" to "Georgia's" .."they" instead of "we"...

cause honestly, I don't care what they do... I mean if you are talking about property rights, it could go both ways.

If my neighbor had an ugly ass shed that I always hated and a surveyor was out and realized that the property line had been erronisouly marked, should you then say, ohh well it's been 50 years he can just have that land? Or do you say no that's my land and you need to get that shed off of it?

In this case it's a little different because it's something that Georgia wants that didn't care about before.

I'm not quick to jump on either bandwagon. I would like for more information honestly than a 1 page article in a NC local newspaper.

TN said that about the militia! not NC...cal you Senator who proposed the bill.

Not too long ago there was a big fuss about Virginia Beach (the Hamptons area) running a water pipeline from Gaston lake near Raleigh--- the lake is still there.... Thing is, all GA needs to do is negotiate for the water--IMHO I think trying to take the land away would be futile

(uh, I hope...)

you know how corrupt Jeb Bush is....and he wants NC and TN water! Please contact people in your state to pressure GA to lay off!
