George Carlin Dies

Being a foreigner, I didn't know about this man until he died (which is sad). I watched several of his performances today - awesome. And I actually agree with him on most of the things. There are no such comedians in my country. Only laughing about some made up bullshit. I wish we had somebody like Carlin or Hicks...

Excuse Me, But...

I said you were being arrogant (claiming absolute truth of your religion) and an ass (saying the recently deceased is going to burn in hell).

My statements are reflected in what you said in this very thread:

I.E.: you are a haughty little tap dancer, though I should be unsurprised if your 300 lb ass could not find a proper tutu.

I recall some posts of you in another thread where you said some pretty denigrating statements of a recent news anchor who passed away a couple of weeks ago, but now you're upset at me because I merely state the truth about the eternal condition of a man who spent his whole career making fun of the God worshiped by billions of people? Oh, you hypocrite.

Let me state it for the record. I find it tragic that George Carlin died not knowing Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and having forgiveness of sins, and my heart goes out to his family. However, those who mock God in this life will have an eternity to be held accountable for their words and actions before a holy, righteous, and just God in torments. George Carlin has to now face that reality which he otherwise rejected on this earth. Do I pity him? Yes. Do I think he deserves to punish in hell? Yes, he does, as much as I do, too. Do I approve of his career? Absolutely not, just as you did not approve of Tim Russert's career in how he performed his job as a news anchor.

I'm On the Right Forum

R.I.P Carlin:(
Pay no attention to Theocrat he is confused and lost. (but has found the invisible man in the sky)

If you are a theocrat, aren't you on the wrong forum?

No, I support the principles of liberty, which come from God alone.

Ignorance Spoken in Jest

Sorry, I retract my question. I just kept thinking "but he lovvvvves you".

George Carlin was wrong when he said that. He obviously didn't understand the sovereignty and charity of the living God of the Bible.

Theocrat, I respect the depth of your faith. I don't agree with you, but I am impressed by you.

1. I’m not upset. The man is dead, and he’s not really facing anyone’s wrath. I’m just stating the obvious attributes of your post.
2. I stand by anything I’ve said of Russert; again: I respect and mourn based on merit, not simple fact of death. Russert was a tool of a corporation that supports the current Hamiltonian/Wilsonian machine.

Alright, well...all of this is meaningless to me. None of your opinions on the non-existent soul of a dead man, whether he is burning in a non-existent Hell or is meeting a non-existent God, or whether he “missed out” on a non-existent God during life...none of this stuff matters to me...so...”ya know”...
