Genius sign slogans

When The People Fear The Government There is Tyranny... When Government Fears The People ..... Ron Paul2012

' Make RVO˩UTION Not War '
' Freedom Is Popular '
' Register (R) for Ron Paul ' + [(your States' primary election date) :Optional]

DON'T FORGET:

Please make sure you put "Ron Paul 2012" or "Ron Paul for President" on your signs. This was a HUGE problem with our R[evol]ution campaign back in '07. People where like "Who's Ron Paul" and "Ron Paul Revolution--what is that"? Somewhere in the Youtube ocean there is an old newscast about that very issue.

Great point, but it also depends on the context. If it's a sign that'll be used on its own, no doubt, you're quite right. We can't assume everyone knows who Ron Paul is, even today. But if it's a sign that'll appear amidst a sea of other RP signs -- for example, in a rush-hour 'sign waving' -- you can get away without it, and use the extra space for longer messages.

I really like the authentic branding. It plays to Ron Paul's strengths as an incorruptible candidate and masks one of his main weaknesses, being his age.

While I like many of the anti-mainstream messages, I don't think they really have much of an appeal to, well, the mainstream.

Obama ran and won on a message of hope and change and ended up being all flash; Ron Paul should run as a man of substance.

My suggestion would be: Ron Paul: Authentic.

Added 'inconvenient truth' and 'housing bubble.' Thanks.

BTW, slogans should be no more than 32-34 characters. In the process of making many signs, we learned that's about the max.

Another one I've heard that I like is

"We the People"

It efficiently conveys the sense of everyone pulling together to return to the founding principles of Liberty, all in three words. Short, catchy and elegant.

Ron Paul: Mainstream Where it Matters

Ron Paul 2012: Better late than never

Ron Paul: Good as Gold

Make Your Kids Proud: Vote Ron Paul
