Gary Johnson Gary Johnson (CNN 4%) Could Tip the Election

Even at half a percent, in tight "toss up state" races that RMoney must win, it could be enough to make the difference.

Possibly, but there's always around 2% for other candidates is assumed. I think there are over 20 people running vanity candidacies this year. Colorado, I believe, has the most candidates on the ballot.

Maybe when he comes out and says he's in favor of "wiping out" someone else ( how bout those Persians Gary! ) he'll get the 5% since he'll show he's no different then anyone else currently running. Just another neocon liar.

Go get em Gary and by the way LP? I'm buring my lp card. I already flushed the gop card for the 2nd and last time. However the lp Between nominating bob barr and this newest guy, you're no libertarian party anymore but the party of compromise. There's nobody left in the us to represent Constitutional government. Nobody BUT Ron Paul.

The LP is really an organization on its last leg. The last time a candidate won an election for state legislature solely as an LP candidate was 1984. Since then any "victories" they have claimed have come from fusion candidates (i.e. they are listed on both the GOP and the LP line of the ballot). Every year they run hundreds of candidates for state and federal offices and they lose every single one of them. As I see it, the reason they nominated Barr in 08 and Johnson in 12, is that they need someone with a small amount of name recognition so that they can get an interview on TV and a mention here and there in the media, to keep their organization afloat. Honestly, if they nominated R. Lee Wrights this year would anyone be paying attention to them other than some folks on obscure political blogs? A little bit of name recognition gives them a little attention, and keeps some money flowing in.

BHO got a 6 point poll bounce off of Charlotte N.C so Mitt's mittsters slammed at this "sugar high" and in light
of this duckies if we all could ask Doctor Ron Paul to send a few kind words towards GJ then maybe we might
see a classic nail~biting tie in the ELECTORAL COLLEGE that would impress all poly*sci students + professors!
although warming up to GJ is like going estatic over mr. nader, he needs to be thought quite a spoiler, thusly!
we could show our clout as a movement by having the GOP decidedly sit up & notice this potential '12 asterix!

I hope Johnson keeps getting attention and keeps hurting Romney. Until the GOP decides they want to change direction, I want to keep causing them pain.

A May poll compared to a September poll might not be a completely fair comparison.

But anyway, I'm really having trouble understanding how that many people can poll for someone and then change their minds when it comes time to actually vote. 6% to 0.4%? That means 6.67% of the 6% who claimed to support him pre-election actually ended up voting for him. That's insane.

The reason is simple. Polls are not accurate and cannot be.

Do not give me neg rep for this. I just thought it was funny and decided to post it here since he is running as the LP candidate.

Unless a gun is pointed to my head I'll be writing in RP or voting 3rd party. I can't stand the two hacks we have running.

The more the better, that way the republicans will be certain that, without us, they will lose, again, and again, and again, and again.
OK that sounds reasonable. I always hear people blaming the third party for the Republican losses. It would be nice for them to realize it is the Republican nominee and their platform that is at fault not the rogue votes. After witnessing the corruption I don't think any of it matters anyway. This country has lost its way and the sheep have been herded and are ready for slaughter.

last I heard he hurt obama more

+1 vote here
Too bad... the hurt needs to be on the 10 Fat Men of Rmoney... then they would realize how badly they needed RP's republicans, libertarians, constituionalists, independents, and Blue Dog Dens
