Hello everybody - longtime RP fan here....

We all know he is getting a little old for another run, and will probably opt out of one.

You should all read up on Gary Johnson if you have not yet. He will be THE candidate in 2012. Let our grassroots get him off his feet!

Yep, he's on our radar for sure. I've been following him for over a decade, great guy, would be great for the Revolution.

Johnson looks like a good RP Republican. problem is Ron Paul still didnt decide on running or not.

we need to get his grassroots campaign going and get him some publicity so he will be on the radar (for the party) in 2010 and a major player in 2012.

we all know paul wont run at 77... people were giving mccain a hard time for 72 or whatever. its just not viable.

we need to kick this off early!

Gary Has a Fatal Flaw

Although Gary Johnson has some solid positions on many issues, such as the decriminalization of drug usage, I find his position on abortion to be morally lacking, as seen from this interview here. Unless he has changed his mind on the sanctity of life, I cannot support him, unfortunately.

I questioned that position before because Life is one of my main issues. I was told he believes in state's rights. but Id like to hear from his own mouth his view on the life of the unborn

I don't think I really liked any of his positions in there...

He is for liberty, just ask the government for it first. But, no, an unborn child doesn't have the right-to-life.

He would still be much better than any neocon.

You dont have to agree with all of his positions to realize he is a superior choice (aside from RP).

You should not allow 1 issue to decide your vote, you need to look at the whole picture. People are going to have abortions whether or not the president supports it.

They could both run. That would make more sense in terms of spreading the message.

The last thing we need to be doing is splitting our own vote! I know we're a 'herd of cats' and all, but damn it--this is just too basic.
