This holy-roller Christian lady who attends our liberty group meetings was one of the ones who insisted "Trump was Sent by God". She refused to look at "On the Records" [what a waste those were], she defended him to the hilt, and even voted for him the third time. She happened to listen to Catherine Fitts, and stumbled upon an article that Chuck Baldwin wrote. After that, she opened her eyes and ears. Will ending the drug war make the Chinese stop sending fentanyl to the USA? I hope so because I have already lost 4 family members and numerous friends and I also have friends who have lost many too. Too many young people are dying. I don't know what the solution is. I do believe we need to start treating addicted people as sick people instead of like criminals.

Personal responsibility plays a big part in that. And good support structures from family, and trusted friends. One can't blame China China China for a personal choice to do drugs, anymore than you can blame Smith and Wesson for gun fatalities. It is a hard reality that nobody wants to hear, but it is true nonetheless. If they don't get it from China, they will get it from somewhere else, even home-grown.

If you're looking for a perfect "solution", I guess prison walls are your best bet, one without furniture for risk of tripping over it and breaking your neck.

Keep in mind that our own government promotes the drug war and facilitates it's movement. That is how they keep their departments running and on the tax payer dime.

I'm sorry to hear about those lost. But the CIA is behind the laws because that's a huge source of income for them. They well know that the black market has higher profit margins. I don't think it's a coincidence that the foolish War For Poppies in Afghanistan didn't end until fentanyl popped up.

In short, you're turning for solutions to the source of the problem. I'm not saying they might not be better off nonviolent "criminal" slaves in some work-for-peanuts-release program than they are now. I'm just saying that the war on drugs has been making everything worse our whole lives. I don't want to keep trying the same garbage, expecting different results.

There are better ways. The question is, why can't we do them?

What are the better ways? I have found that I have to distance myself from loved ones and old friends who are using drugs. Most of them got addicted to opioids because of doctors prescribing them then they were cut off of them and they started using street drugs.

I know how insane addicts can be I saw my older brother hold a gun up to my mother's head because she wouldn't give him any money it was a bad and scary scene. He ODed on fentanyl 3 times then he lived the rest of his life tied down in a nursing home and became riddled in bed sores. My 1st cousin died while taking a hit of fentanyl as he watched tv another cousin did about the same thing. One friend walked out into a cross walk and passed out and got hit by a car at night. I could go on and on.

The one blessing of which I am so grateful for is that my younger brother finally got clean after doing 5 years in prison making the total time he spent in prison 21 years he finally thank God woke up. This 6'1" man got busted weighing 115 pounds

I was losing hope for him the last time I saw him before he got busted I did not even recognize him I did not go see him in prison but I was there when he got released and he looked better than I had seen him looking since he was young. He is doing very well now thanks to God.

I know the CIA is the biggest black market player in the world and they are responsible for much of the misery on earth I hate them and wish they could be shut down.

Have more of the most addictive drug on earth. We want you to be comfortable.

I have known about drs for a long long time. I know what happens I can guarantee that I have seen this up close and personal too many times with my own family. How is it going to get fixed? I once had an alcohol problem and fixed it with the help of a very good man. I know that first the person has to want to change. Some of them do get beyond help. What does ending the drug war look like? You tell me what it looks like I can't seem to visualize what it would look like for the government to so call "end" the drug war?

Mostly I'd like to wage war, but on Big Pharma's grip. The main problem with doctors is people really want, and some need, to be able to trust them, and with the pressures they face, people really can't.
