Dear kyleAF,

I wanted to invite you, your family & friends to a rally for Ron Paul in his home district in Texas!

It will be held this Saturday, Feb. 2 at 3:00 PM CT at the parking lot of the old HEB (5201 N. Navarro St, Victoria, TX 77904.)

We'll have a live band playing and Ron Paul will be giving a speech.

Please join us in celebrating the message of Freedom, Peace and Prosperity!

Pardon my French, but what the hell is Ron Paul doing in Texas this close to super Tuesday? There are more than 20 states he could be in and he's going home? That's disappointing.

It doesn't say Ron Paul will be there, it just says he is invited to a rally for Ron Paul. I supposed he would be at the MTV/MySpace debate tomorrow at 6pm est. Anyone know for sure?

I got the same email...wish I could drive up there for the rally. Maybe I will... it's only 225 miles...

Victoria, Texas is in Ron Paul's Congressional District and his seat is being threatened by another neo-con. Texas has many delegates and a very strong conservative base. Texas would be ripe for the picking should the only choices after super tuesday be McCain or Paul.

He's there for Congressional business, and is doing a rally and the MTV debate while there to maximize his time.
