FYI - Found Reason for No Confirmation Email

After seeing I was not the only one not receiving a confirmation after donating I decided to do some digging into my mail server log files. It would appear that the Ronpaul2008 mail server sending the confirmation does not have a domain name associated with the IP address it is sending the email from.

Therefore recipient email servers that perform a reverse DNS lookup to ensure that the sending IP address has a valid domain name associated with it will reject the confirmation email since none exists.

I used the feedback forum on the ronpaul2008 website to let them know but assume they are probably overwhelmed with other emails. Perhaps someone will see this hear and check it out.

still missing

I'm still missing my confirmation email. I used my hotmail account and it worked on Nov 5th. I don't think the DNS issue is the cause in my case. Hotmail allows a lot to go through (even the ip only viagra ads).

I do have it on my credit card statement though...
