That isn't the youtube title, which would be "Ron Paul CASTRATES Newt Gingrich."

The comments on the youtube are great, too.

OOps, no that wasn't what I meant to post, and then I went off to twitter and didn't look back. Sorry! It's in the OP now.

I enjoy watching the debate clips again (without having to watch the whole debates)

Please keep posting them every now and then sailing.

That was a great moment. The neocons had to applaud Ron - they're programmed to applaud anybody who "served."

Wasn't this South Carolina? I remember this vividly, we watched it together from LA Liberty HQ's phone bank that night. We were all very proud of Ron.

Newt called himself a military brat, lmao.

Hadn't seen that one, but that was pretty powerful. A follow up would be was Newt eligible for the draft with kids? Or was Ron's point to be that he should have voluntarily enlisted?

I'm over what was the draftable age but I'd have a kid every year if that's what it took to force the neocons to fight their own damn war.

There might have been a misunderstanding about that. Afterwards I heard that when Newt was of draft age you weren't eligible with kids so you just said you had them, didn't have to petition for anything. When Ron went he'd have had to say 'I have kids' and ask off. I'm not certain of that but Newt seemed to say so later when asked about this. In any event, Ron didn't try to get a deferal and Newt took the out. Ron's point, though, was that people who take 'outs' to get out of serving themselves have no standing to send other people's kids to war.
