We learned from our mistakes and it's becoming clear from several other threads that the campaign did not meet our expectations in Iowa, but rather we, the grassroots, beat all of their expectations in fundraising and ideas. I think it's about time that we understand that the grassroots and the Ron Paul campaign need to work together in unity!

Several professional campaign ads have been created from the grassroots, such as the "Jeremiah Black ads" that were done VERY well and attract a much larger crowd than the current Ron Paul ads, intended to attract their older Republican counterpart. If we started working together with the campaign, we could actually give these ads to the campaign to fund, instead of us having to fund both projects. It would guarantee that these great and effective ads would make it to the states, instead of our failure to fund them in time as is currently happening. If we also worked all of our efforts in a combination with the campaign's, we could finally provide all of our grassroots work (the blimp, the money bombs, etc...) to the campaign to have for themselves, and us to help with funding. It would overall help our performance. Instead of funding 50 different things, we could pay to just the campaign to work with all of these great things we accomplished.

Here's a quick look in this possible future. Instead of having crummy commercials that the campaign pays thousands of dollars for, plus the price of having them aired, we could provide them with some professional and free ads. Our current ads address the young people (Obama's guys) and is something that the campaign is lacking completely. Now instead of paying the ad PAC, we would just give to the campaign. Also, the campaign could be in charge of the blimp and all sorts of our other accomplishments! Please tell me what you think!

I know that the Jeremiah Black ads were offered to the campaign, they watched them, and pretty much said, "They're nice...thanks but no thanks."

Really?! I'm getting mad alright... Real mad! The campaign is making me feel like the blimp managers are making a lot of forum users feel.

According to the exit polling that CNN did. Ron Paul did well with young voters, angry voters, and independents. But this is in Iowa. Will this hold true in New Hampshire and South Carolina ?

Maybe we need the campaign to do internal polls to get a sense of who is more likely to vote for him in the upcoming states and tailor make ads to appeal to them.

Why won't Ron Paul bring up his more extreme ideas on the war and economy in his ads? The young people LOVE that stuff! Why do his ads keep targeting old Republicans from the '20s?!

Competition for advertisements is not only a great idea, but it embodies the message of the campaign Centeral government can run programs on a low quality, high price basis. Free market, on the ohter hand, gives high quality, low cost programs. Spread the message. Embrase the revolution!

Exactly!

What I have distributed to voters out of my own pocket in addition to donating the max to the campaign; 100 (non-campaign) yard signs, 117 (non-campaign) window clings, 170 (non-campaign) DVDs, 171 (non-campaign) "Ron Paul for president" Beanies.

Thanks to our friend Mr. Mcain we must have these extra avenues because our freedom of political speech is not allowed to be in the form of money to the campaign after we hit the limit.

But I will say this, I am spreading awareness of this message in my neck of the woods by doing these things far better than the official campaign is. They must focus on getting votes and eastern Idaho isn't a huge priority, I can focus on spreading the message of constitutional adherance. And when this election is over there will be at least 200+ individuals that will still look for a candidate that honors the constitution just because of my outside efforts. Plus, I'm enjoying it. :)

I think HQ should communicate with the Grassroots more. Keep it simple and just explain to all what they need from us....other than $23 million.

After Ron Paul, I'm done with politics... My only hope may have little hope...

Just what I was saying in another thread. :)

That ad is great

They turned it down? I've never seen it. I've seen several other clips that would make great ads. Like the "Apple" ad knock off.

They need to separate out demographics and have an ad for each demographic. Right now, it seems like they are just advertising to the over 65 crowd using traditional tactics.

Their ads are boring. I saw the ads on youtube. If I didn't know Ron Paul, I wouldn't have given them a second look. They push generic statements about liberty without giving him much personality. If they aren't going to give him Huckabee like charm, then they need to make their message come across in a much more powerful format.

Brought tears to my eyes!

Is there any kind of problem with using these kinds of ads?
Perhaps there is a problem with using stuff found on the TV to make them?

EDIT"
If so, then they should get a studio to make the TV parts for themselves and do it professionally.

Bob Marley, John Lennon, and the rest..

I would love to see more ads/videos using the lyrics of these great, prophetic men to enhance the message of Ron Paul..

Get up, stand up.. just imagine

New TV Ad I Would Like to See

Do Americans really want to embrace the grip of socialism that the Democrats have to offer? Do Americans care about rescuing the economy from financial disaster, for themselves and their children? Ron Paul cares, And socialism is not the answer. Research Ron Paul's solutions on the Internet. Google Ron Paul and you will be pleasantly surprised.
