I want to gauge support before moving forward.
Some have mentioned a "tent city" for the weekend of the march. I feel this will give the movement a "hobo" look that we're still trying to shake off from the signs a bunch of us made. Not that I'm knocking all the people that made signs, they're all true patriots.
But what about this: A festival the same weekend as the march. I've already e-mailed a festival organizer, and have checked into possible domain names. If we have a supporting event where people can pitch a tent and listen to live music as well as speakers, without looking like a tent city, I think it would draw more support for the whole thing. We can also organize shuttles to and from the march.
