The point, that zoomed right over your head, is that it absolutely didn't hurt him.

And I've already answered this before but you refuse to acknowledge it. What Trump gets away with, other candidates would not be able to get away with. To think that what works for him would work for other candidates is just plain naive.

I didn't ask you to target the best audience. I didn't even ask what audience you were mailing these out to. I said you should target a specific audience or issue, and that it would help keep your brochure from becoming stale and irrelevant. Common core? Really?

People do not "often comprise" on anything, as that doesn't even make any sense. I believe the word you were looking for was "compromise" and I agree, however you'll notice that other candidates successfully become defined by a smaller group of issues. Have you ever heard "jack of all trades, master of none"? Trump is doing well because he knew who he was going after as a core audience, he has maintained that support, and he could count on the herd to come along for the ride.

You have decided that using an actual American flag is not really important. You wonder why people do not take you seriously.

You already talk about a specific piece of legislation, so perhaps you are calling your own brochure boring. Once again, I agree. I am asking that you use some kind of citation when you talk about a specific bill or, for that matter, when you use a specific quote. Your entire brochure hinges on the concept that people will be doing research (particularly on YouTube), so providing those citations can only bolster your case.

If people don't care about specifics THEN WHY HAVE THIS RIDICULOUS ORGY OF TEXT SENT TO THEM? People don't care about the PATRIOT Act? Then why talk about it at all? You contradict yourself all over the place, and still do not address the fundamental issue, which is that the brochure looks like it was written for someone's "High School Project" rather than as a serious attempt to draw someone's support for a candidate.

"Everyone" does not have free long distance, particularly the elderly who actually get out there and vote. This is something I deal with when working with the elderly in my area for unrelated issues. You believe the opposite to your detriment.

People have asked you about the ticker, earlier in this thread or perhaps in one of the twelve other threads. This is another dodge.

So people need to see a picture on the brochure, of the brochure, which has a picture of the brochure on it... in order to know what to do. Ah. Your genius is beyond my ken.

Rand's wife SHOULD be on the brochure, and I did not say differently. What I asked is why there is a picture of Rand looking at Rand looking at Kelly.

Rand has done particular outreach in a number of areas that are not that "white" but I guess you disagree with that, too, judging from the rest of your post. My point was not to generate specific photos and pander. My point was that you have two "crowd" shots --- one of which is of military in the background --- and instead focus on the same few people over and over and over and over again. I'm sure you don't feel that this comes off as vain or off-putting at all. I notice you didn't address the fact that this brochure looks more like an ad for selling brochures than any kind of campaign-related material. I don't blame you, since even in your response to me you've pretty much blamed Rand for your lack of success.

You asked for specifics, and you've batted them away, sure in your superiority. So be it.

As for the idiotic, overused pen shit, I can't sell you what's already yours. I would say that my response, given that it really does look like a nice pen, would be to put it in my pocket and say nothing. If you really did want the pen back, you would offer me money for it. If you don't really want the pen back, then I've gotten a free pen. If you whine that I should give you your pen back, I would point out that you've given it to me in front of myriad witnesses. In other words, I either keep your gift, or you lament having given me such a nice pen and give me money so that I give it back to you. What this has to do with your other stupidity, I'll never know.

Rand's biggest problem right now is:

1. People do not think he is in the race.
2. If they know he is in the race, they do not know where he stands.

Rand's message has to connect with millions of people in IA, NH, SC, etc. to win. The only way to do this is with the Super Brochure. Media buys are very expensive and ineffective. You are buying 30 secs while the show talks about Trump for 20 minutes. You can not just phone bank and walk IA and NH. You have to look further down the road. And the idea of getting delegates without getting at least a high percentage of popular vote just won't work. Look at 2012.

Why are the same few people who are DO NOTHINGS so obsessed with people being like them? If you want Rand to win, you have to get up off your butt and make it happen. If you listen to the DO NOTHINGS, Rand will only sink lower in the polls.

In other words...

1. Ask for specific things wrong with the brochures.
2. Ridicule and ignore those specific things wrong with the brochures.
3. Post saying that everyone else is doing nothing.

Nothing's going to change your mind on these, just as many were jazzed with the ones from last time around (hopefully the "Ron Pail" typo was actually fixed on the final product). For me, I'm one of those ignorant fools who thinks that my money's better spent on Rand's actual campaign, and the smaller campaigns of people I believe in, than on someone who can't even be bothered to use an actual American flag on their products and admits he thinks his buyers are too stupid to notice.

/end.

Chirp, Chirp... So just the same Do Nothings... I miss the Ron Paul 2007 days when everyone just did stuff. Now the Do Nothings constantly look for someone to tell them what to do. It was the reason Ron created a movement.

Again the question is what exactly would you change about the Super Brochure:
(And remember the Ron Paul one was on the FRONT PAGE of the NEW YORK TIMES, featured on MSNBC, Politico said it had a "huge impact", and one other thing TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE PAID TO MAIL OR HAND THEM OUT!!!)

There is no need to criticize specifics. You printed the body copy of an entire brochure in reverse type -- this is proven to be eye-wearying and difficult to read. See Colin Wheildon's Type & Layout the definitive design book on the matter: "A reversed out page might look dramatic, but clearly, it is the enemy of reader comprehension."

Credit to you for using a sans serif font, which is usually not suited for body copy ... except Wheildon continues: "Sans serif is better than serif type in reverse -- but only if you are happy to accept "better" as being just four percent good comprehension which, of course, is a ridiculous proposition if you are really in the business of communicating!"

If you want to DO SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE, sign up with the campaign to Phone from Home or to canvass.

First DO NO HARM!!

Wrong.

Yes, and that means phone banking and going door-to-door in IA and NH.

Please quit trying to peddle your product here.

I lurk here way more than I post, but I've been around awhile. I even have that fancy black-and-white poster thingy that people got for donating or something, I don't know.

Anyways, I remember what the Super Brochures did to Ron's campaign in the past. I remember when the 9/11 video link came to light, and I remember when we found out that it harmed Ron's campaign.

Aside from being literally nobody, this one issue has made me sign back in and post as forcefully as I can: DO NOT USE THE SUPER BROCHURE.

It really is a beautiful brochure. The feedback from people handing them out has been incredible!

I think you're just about done here. Now I see why you get attacked everywhere you post these things. You can count on that to continue.

There's only one way the math works on on that...Your profit margin on these Supershit brochures is so high that you're able to give this "amazing discount".

I don't understand how the site hasn't banned you. You're nothing more than a profiteer and are hurting Rand's campaign.

The only feedback I see is everyone telling you to stop being a harmful profiteer.

Do you just stick your fingers in your ears and ignore everyone or are you willfully doing harm to make money?

Not people that are actually doing something. The DO NOTHINGS in this thread have little to show. Where are their videos and photos of their canvassing and phone banking? Where is proof that they even care if Rand wins?

All I read is FEAR because they know people want Super Brochures. Why else would they spend so much time attacking it? And it is always the same people over and over.

This thread is for people who are active. I run one of the larger Meetup Groups that supports Rand. We need Super Brochures just like any other active group of people. And they work.

Moreover, the states where the brochures were blanketed in Ron had his best showings. It was nice seeing something positive go out to combat the newsletters.

This has been pointed out over and over, you don't just throw word diarrhea at voters. You find out what their issues are and target those issues only. It seriously is the first thing any campaign consultant would tell you. When you do something like this you are sure to have at least one issue that turns the voter away.

I neg repped the OP.

That's...just...like your opinion, buddy. Oh and F*** campaign consultants. If Trump is doing anything it's showing consultants to be less than worthless. If you really want to hurt a campaign hire and bunch of consultants to suck out all your humanity like vampires.
