FREE RAND PAUL SUPER BROCHURES AT FOREVERFREE.COM

I use the best graphic designers, marketing companies, etc. in the country. You really think the Super Brochure will lose a vote, seriously???

Please suggest how to make this better: (so far crickets)

1. Get some black Sharpies, mark out every mention of Rand Paul and his likeness.
2. Get some stickers and print "Ted Cruz" on them, stick them over the black marks made in Step 1 (for the images, find a stock photo of Ted Cruz, print it on the stickers).
3. Find some "migrant workers" to do steps 1 and 2 for the 50,000 or whatever Super Brochures you have laying around, you can probably get this done in less than a week, for $20 a day.
4. Send a couple of your people over to Free Republic and Breitbart to make posts asking if anyone has bought any Ted Cruz Super Brochures.
5. Go over there yourself a couple days later and make your pitch.
6. ???
7. Profit!

Curt, the campaign has material created by professionals that understand that you should not bombard people with too many issues. You are bound to offend them with at least one of them and will lose them forever. Why can't you understand that? I know why. Because your goal is to make money, not to help the Rand campaign.

Either that or you want to make Rand's race about you even if it means you will hurt his campaign. You would rather feel useful and have Rand lose than just donate to the campaign and have Rand win. What an awful and selfish thing to do. Keep telling yourself you're some liberty hero. You're not. Your exactly the type of supporter I would not want if I were Rand.

Back in 2011, I designed and sold Ron Paul t shirts. Sold signs and buttons. For almost a year wherever I could. Profited just over $50 becuase the rest went for expenses and absorbing the cost of Free stuff. The goal of getting Ron Paul's name out there and into discussion was present.

Had to put up with those that spread around "saboteur" rhetoric because I wouldn't distribute the wealth back into the Ron Paul campaign. It worked. I didn't need that crap from doing what I was enjoying. I slowly became not interested in getting involved and therefore so did others who I touched. Domino effect.

***

Now I sell educating Liberty apparel. Put up with those that want me to distribute the wealth, especially to local campaigns. I will not donate because there has to be a legal tax write-off. There are legal ways but I won't distribute unless the money goes to tangible investments, such as, media equipment; something to grow.

But distributing to campaigns? Limited. They get there distribution when I pay the exhibitors fee. I've gone that way. But unless there are good gigs, with people who spend money, then it isn't worth gigging it.

***

I put up with those that talk their stuff because people who come up to my exhibit and thank me for doing what I do, appreciate the hard work involved in promoting Liberty.

When people took Ron Paul super brochures from me back in the day, they were impressed with it. Some moved on and some chatted. For people who knew nothing of Ron Paul, and now had a good amount of info about him; any potential people lost because of content, I do not believe, took away from those who now had a reason to be motivated to look into someone they had not before.

But, handing stuff out for free is a cost. Someone has to absorb it. Activists complained so I stopped absorbing the loss.

Maybe folks will get their wish and Curt will back off on his activism efforts. He found a way to fund his activism, and hopefully get some profit out of it. That is how it is done.

Losing fellow activists because of the purity demanded is part of the reason people don't want to get involved in the campaign.

The campaign offers a multitude of ways to constructively help Rand. Creating a side business to profit off of Rand's run for the presidency, without knowing your ass from a hole in the ground, so you harm what you portend to help, is not something to be applauded. If this is the only way some people want to "get involved" in the campaign, yeah, it's probably best if they don't.

Just sayin'...

Your insults have been noticed in your postings.

... best if they don't. < I believe those that support this participation and growth view, have had that come true. That's the way it is.

Good. I hope so.

You mean, those who wish to profit financially from a candidate's campaign. Got it.

Chirp, Chirp... So just the same Do Nothings... I miss the Ron Paul 2007 days when everyone just did stuff. Now the Do Nothings constantly look for someone to tell them what to do. It was the reason Ron created a movement.

Again the question is what exactly would you change about the Super Brochure:
(And remember the Ron Paul one was on the FRONT PAGE of the NEW YORK TIMES, featured on MSNBC, Politico said it had a "huge impact", and one other thing TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE PAID TO MAIL OR HAND THEM OUT!!!)

I don't think they are wanting you to change it, they are wanting you to take it away.

Wow! I never seem to find the bottom of the insquabling (new word) in the liberty movement. I see nothing wrong with the super brochures in the past or now (I ordered some last month). I do remember some people butt hurt over a picture of draped coffins in the first printing many years ago but that was fixed real fast (didn't bother me any). Maybe someone did some nasty in the past (and maybe not). So what! Get over it already! Aren't we supposed to be using all tools and resources to get the message of liberty out? I use the SB's and sure don't see any reason to stop...
ARE YOU NUTS? THEY LINKED TO 911 TRUTHER VIDEOS IN THAT BROCHURE. Ron's campaign said they did a lot of damage. But, yeah, you do whatever dude.
Ya, I guess I'm nuts... I don't see anything wrong with the Rand superbrochure and I use it. I guess I'm damaging Rand's chances just like we did with Ron's campaign when people who were not "part of the official campaign" decided to do something crazy and raised money for the worlds first and only blimp. Sure, people can argue that money could have been spend better in other areas (you can make that claim about any expenditure) but you really can't claim that the blimp "hurt" Ron because it was not run by the campaign. The whole idea behind superpacs is to separate supporters from the "official" campaign for more flexibility.

It isn't about YOU. It's about not harming what little chance Rand has.

This says it all.

You still defend the harmful associates from RP2012. Either you produce evidence of Jesse Benton's expenses that you claim exist or you fuck off. You are not an innocent bystander.

I have pointed out specific issues with the brochures, both this version and the previous one. I have also pointed out basic issues with the graphics used on the site and even on the promotional bumper sticker. The problem, and the reason you're hearing crickets, is that there are no fewer than a dozen threads on this same topic. It gets tiresome and sad talking about the same problems over and over again.

1. Target a specific audience or issue. This helps keep your brochure from becoming stale and irrelevant.
2. Learn what an American flag looks like.
3. Stop Capitalizing random words in Your Brochure for Emphasis even when it is Grammatically Incorrect.
4. Start capitalizing acronyms and the like when it's appropriate to do so. It's not "the Patriot Act." It never has been.
5. Start providing citations for specific legislation when you talk about it.
6. Start investing in a toll-free number, rather than one that is going to be long distance for many people.
7. Stop dodging questions about the ticker; it's a valid concern.
8. Take out the pictures of the brochure that are on the brochure. This isn't Inception. If it's really about getting votes, then there should be more information about how and where to vote (or where to find that information) than there should be information about how to buy more brochures.
9. Take a step back and reread some of your copy, and look at the photos. Do you really need a photo of Rand looking towards himself and his wife, with him wearing the same exact suit and tie as on the cover? Or could that have been a different graphic with actual impact? Everything on the final brochure should have purpose and impact. Most of what's shoehorned into this one is like old restaurants where they'd put a piece of curly parsley on every plate.
10. You accidentally got a black person on the brochure. The focus on him, his wife, and the cute little girl has pretty much wound up whitewashing the brochure. Given that he's already gotten some ignorant morons to label him a racist in the past, this is silly. There are plenty of great pictures of him deliberately reaching out and trying to point out that liberty should be popular with EVERYONE. That one's not really a requirement, but it is irksome.

Having said all of that (again... and I only picked ten), at this point anything that gets Rand's name out there can't hurt his PRESIDENTIAL campaign much. It would be a shame if something hurt any of his other efforts.

WTF are you talking about birdbrain? What does Jesse Benton have to do with Curt's flyer?

If it doesn't have @boobsforrand splattered all over the page then I'm not interested. She deserves a youtube channel (hint hint). If they buy the brochures will the proceeds go to Rand's campaign? I always complain about these aging whippersnappers that have lost their snap that they used to have when they chased Hannity around with snowballs, put naked Ron Paul girls on youtube, do I have to mention the blimp, and Ron Paul signs from as far as I can see. They sit in their rocking chair all day now, fretting about polls, and making sure all internet polls are noticeably askewed. We may be old but we aren't senile to fall for any snake oil. Only the premium stuff will do: https://store.randpaul.com/index.php/

There isn't anything about Radical Islam, Rand's support for Israel, his strong opposition the Iran deal, opposition to the Fed, and support for American Constitutional rights. How are we going to get the votes of the evangelicals if they don't believe in him? Also how about the 28 pages? Rand's problem is that people think he is weak. He refuses to address the issue of Salafism which is Saudi arabia and Qatar's fault. He happily gives foreign policy to Cruz and Trump. This brochure does too. Its all very bland. I don't see the controversy. The brochures will put the elderly to sleep. It would be better instead to forget Rand and make brochures of the unfiltered truth coming out of Ron Paul's mouth.

Curt?

This is nothing more than a way for someone to make a lot of money. It doesn't help Rand, in fact it hurts Rand.

If you want to help Rand, go to IA or NH for a week or two prior to the vote and volunteer in person.

We target the best audience you can have: REPUBLICAN SUPER VOTERS!!! You seem to fail to realize who actually wins elections. Super Voters are people who vote every time. Most do not engage in politics and often know little about candidates. At best, they can repeat the soundbites of what the TV or newspaper says. You are trying to sell the message all wrong.

1. We do target the best group. Few people are one issue. Go to a gun show and you quickly learn. People care about lots of issues and often comprise on their main issue.

2. The average person thinks of a flag as red, white, and blue. Get over it.

3-5. You type to the audience. People know words or phrases. Talking about a specific bill is BORING.....ZZZZZZZ. You think people care about specifics, THEY DON"T. Learn from Trump on this. General with a point is better.

6. I got hundreds of calls a day in 2012. People don't care about 800 numbers. Everyone has free long distance now. What people real like is talking to me when they call and not a voicemail. How many people here have tried to contact the Official campaign of a candidate and never got a response???

7. What is wrong with the ticker? It shows a number and the red bar. It only moves when people donate to mailings. Rand is not inspiring people to donate. The Romney endorsement followed by his statements this summer on foreign policy lost many people. When he should have been sounding like his father, he was trying to win over people who would never vote for him in the first place.

8. People need to know what to do. Seeing the brochures helps them understand what to do. We would have had State specific brochures, but we do not have the volume to justify it. So the last panel would have looked different depending on the State.

9. Rand's wife, Kelly, should be on the brochure. She is a wonderful person and can get a lot of people to vote for Rand. If you haven't talked with her, you should.

10. You live in a White, Christian country and are trying to win a Republican primary. The media has brainwashed you. Get a HUD or some other government brochure if you want to see something else.

You need to answer this question: Sell me this pen?

LOL he asks for suggestions, gets detailed suggestions, then takes each one and rejects it.

This is because he's already printed the product and can't make changes.

Yes, we printed Super Brochures. Amazing that this seems foreign to you. Actually do something and have it ready for people who need it.

Yes, we can make changes. The points made were valid and a response was given. Now you can explain why you don't agree with the experts that I talked to about these subjects.

My question to you is: Do you go to Republican meetings/groups? And do you hand out information on Rand Paul?

I hand out what the campaign gives me to hand out, because I support letting them control the messaging.
