I have a $100.00 Google Advertising card that I am willing to donate to a liberty candidate. The card has a Code on it that I can give to them.

What liberty candidate can currently use it to help them in their campaign?

edit: details:
The card expires Aug 31, 2012.
I received it from GoDaddy when I purchased a domain and hosting for a year.

It would be helpful for the Eric Knowles for Congress campaign. He won his primary and was recently endorsed by libertycandidates.com. Is the card still available?

Yes, it is, Do you have contact info for him or even better if you have contact with them I could give you the card number to pass on. Either way is fine. I won't be using it and would like it to benifit a liberty candidate if possible.'

edit: Ingrid, if you contact them and they can use it, PM me and I'll give you the number.

I sent him and his team a message, so I should be hearing back shortly.

Okay.
I don't know how much $100.00 will buy in google advertising, but I figured if a candidate is already using it or has been considering it, a little extra might help. I received it from GoDaddy when I purchased a domain and hosting for a year.

Kerry Bentivolio. He has a winnable race and has a moneybomb tomorrow.

This card won't work as cash (like a credit card) it's $100.00 in free google advertising, unfortunately. The number looks like an XBox Live kind of number, formated in alphanumberic characters: 4Chars-4Chars-4Chars-4Chars-4Chars.

Yeah, but you could advertise the money bomb was my point. I am not familiar with them myself.

I'm not either, that's why I was going to leave it to a campaign to use it as they desired.

edit: If noone else wants it, I could try to find out how to use it. I think you can target a zip code.

Also, I want to give Ingrid time to get a reply back from the Eric Knowles campaign.

Clyde--I've been doing some work for Steve Stockman, in TX. He's a big liberty candidate with very little money who is in a runoff. In the general election he spent under 30k, the other guy spent over 300k, Stockman got 1.5% less. They both beat a State Senator. Stockman is a former Congressman whose record can be looked up, but in short--he's pro gold standard, anti-fed, non-interventionist, etc.

I'd love to be able to use the $100 card to advertise in one particular zipcode in Steve's district. I know how to do all this, of course. But, I'm in contact with Steve's campaign and will first see how they'd want to use it. This is a time-sensitive thing though, since the runoff is in a couple weeks.

Okay, here's what I'll do...

Let me give Ingrid till 8:00pm today (Thurs 8:00pm Central time (9:00pm EDT)) to get a response from the Eric Knowles campaign since she's already contacted them. I would hate for her to get a response that "Yea we really could use that" and then me to have already given it away.

If not, then I'll PM you the card number if you can still use it and Steve's campaign is in agreement with you. Is that fair and still timely?

Clyde - Unless the coupon code is akin to a gift card, it's very possible that it is not a one time use thing - it is possible that the code can be used one time by many different AdWords accounts. Google occassionally creates these codes to encourage people with dormant AdWords accounts to re-start their ad campaigns. They market the same code to thousands of advertisers. If your code is one of these codes, it is quite likely possible that many liberty candidates can all use it.

How can I tell? The code is a very long alphanumeric code, like an XBox Live code, 20 characters long. I would just post it, but then how would anyone know if it's still good or not?

edit: See OP for newly added details.

I would suggest that after you give the code out to the first taker and have confirmed that they used it, let the second taker try it. If it works, you can likely continue sharing with worthy parties.

Will do, thank you :)
