Free 10 dollars from American Express paypal clone, turn around and give to RP2012

Holy shnikees. If youre able to send that $10 to the campaign, we could end up raising thousands...

Please keep us posted.

Just signed up, there is a $5 referal bonus also, that can be used upto 10 times per account, so if we keep referring each other we can end up with $60 each.
(Under Tools, there is a Refer a Friend link that you can send emails too)
Not sure what the easiest way is to get cash out of the Serve account and into the campaign, preferably without having to link a bank account, so looking for tips there.
I setup the email [email protected] in case anyone signs up and it asks if someone referred you.

btw, we did this last cycle with Revolution Money Exchange, which got bought out by AmEx and was converted into Serve.

lol awesome. free money =D.. do they charge any monthly fee or hidden costs or some other bullcrap?

Aparently no fees til june, then there will be xfer fees from credit cards, etc. Just took a quick look at the faq, so can't be positive, but there is definitely no fee to send money in the account to another account holder.
We need RPHQ to set up a serve account so we can funnel all this cash to them.

American Express has opened a paypal clone called serve.com found at http://www.serve.com

Signing up they give you 10 dollars. No referrals or anything, just 10 bucks to your account upon email confirmation.

I just signed up, after the bank verification is cleared I'm going to give it to the campaign.
Nice of Am Ex to help me fund my candidate!

I looked and didn't see anything about referrals. The signup page didn't have a place to put an email, and the send a friend tool has no mention of an extra 5, nor does the terms page. Did I overlook something?

@kp,
When I signed up there was a referal box as the last step to put peoples emails into, and if any of them signed up it said I'd get $5 each for a max of $50.
Looking back thru the site I don't see that offer anymore so it might just be on initial signup.
There is a FAQ here on the subject:

I signed up, seems to have 10 USD credit. Choosing "CHECK" is free, but may take a week or so to get to you, but no account linking. Here is my "referral" link for anyone who wants to use it (I think - seems to reference a referral code, though how you get this if you DON'T send an e-Mail when making your account I haven't quite divined) https://secure.serve.com/Partners/E...SIGNUPESPN&Solid=espnServeHP&Referrer=1067822

Edit: There is a pretty visible refer a friend button - I assume the 5 USD referral fee still works from there. Appears you need to have a transaction of some kind though.

The big question seems to be is there an email address at Ron Paul's campaign or RevPac that can accept these $10 payments?

Just accept a check and then do what you will with the money (in this case being donation). I think it's a bit much to ask that the campaign have something set up. Though we could have a pool account to send it all to (since there are no fees) and then cash all of it out. But I think that blatantly violates donation laws (no reimbursement) or at least becomes complicated.

I agree that the campaign probably wouldn't bother setting up a Serve account, but someone at RevPAC should be able to easy enough.

There seems to be confusion over how you get the referral system to work for the $5 bonus. First, find someone you trust to handle the $5 bonus who will give that bonus to the appropriate Ron Paul campaign / RevPac / Other Associated Fund. Then have that trusted person visit this page:
https://secure.serve.com//Secure/Actions/ReferAFriend.aspx

That will send you a sign-up email to sign up with, which should result in a $5 bonus to your trusted friend's account.
