Fred Thompson Quits!!!

Could this be some of the good news that the Paul Campaign alluded to? Fred Thompson endorsement?

He should be spending time with his VERY YOUNG children, not his EGO. THOMPSON doesn't have much time left with his CANCER.

Earning money for your children is important. He didn't appear in more than about 5 minutes of most episodes so I'm sure his parts where filmed in a day. Not bad pay if you can get it. Everyone should spend time with their children but there is the reality of earning a living.

Do you have some insider knowledge of his cancer. Did he announce something about that today?

Fred Thompson's SO-CALLED REPORTED Net worth: $8.1 million

FRED's 2006 income: $9.4 million.

I don't think FRED NEEDS A NICKLE! Yes, I have CONTACTS

Fred’s acting career has seen him playing POTUS as well as other political roles, including himself.

Nice. Fred Thompson is the only candidate signs I have seen so far in Georgia, except for a bunch of Ron Paul stuff in campus and a little outside.

They are gonna have to vote for a Democrat (Rudy), the Massachusetts leftist Mitt, the evangelical has-no-chance-in the general election Huck(a tax-raiser to boot), or Bush II (McCain) whose popularity should be on par with GWB's job approval ratings.

Or the Good Doctor.

If you think Giuliani is a Democrat and Romney is a leftist, then you have no idea what you are talking about.

Remember to let their supporters mourn for a little while, this was mentioned in another thread that it was annoying them trying to be recruited when the guy just dropped out. Give them a day or two as it just happened a couple of hours ago.

I checked out a thread about Fred at freerepublic.com and saw that a few posters boldly declared that they will be supporting RP.

BTW, there are a handful of long-time Freepers who have been supporting RP for months, swatting down objections with logic and humor. They have been doing a yeoman's job.

I think the majority of thompsons or guilianis votes will go to others than RP.. Course im very pessimistic lol I donated 200 yesterday hoping for a bigger bomb.. Course I know the economy is horseshit. I used some of my work compensation money for that donation, im sure most arent on work comp lol

Thompson delegates in the state processes in WV need to be courted by others in WV. Same with Iowa, Nevada and other states that don't have straight primaries.
Bradley is on the ball! Smooth up those Thompson delegates/supporters.

I go to some pro 2nd amendment message boards. From what I've seen about half of the Thompson supporters are now saying they will vote for Ron Paul. Most of them seem to love fighting a war without a strategy but have now realized their own freedoms are more important than Iraq's. The other half are scattered between McCain, Romney, and the Huckatool (in that order)... I really don't know why a lot of them like McCain seeing as how he's probably the most anti gun out of all of them. But a lack of education will do that to you.

We need to be reaching out to these Thompson supporters. I think we have a good chance of getting a lot of them.

HAS the CAMPAIGN STAFFERS ATTEMPTED TO GARNER the CONTACT LISTS from FRED?

Has anyone contacted the RON PAUL Meetup.com GROUPS and RP Campaign offices in TENN to use the DONATIONS CONTACT all of FRED's CAMPAIGN? DONORS?

FIRST on the LIST: Occupation, HOMEMAKER Donates: $4600 to FRED, WOW!

This is good for Ron Paul, Huckabee, and Romney. The losers are McCain and Rudy... probably overall Romney benefits the most... This leaves 1 conservative republican (Dr. Paul), 1 moderate republian (Romney), and the rest are Socialists or baby killers.

Dr. Paul needs to talk about Economics and more economics to this crowd, his Iraq policy (which i Think is flawed) is not going to fly with most Fredites.

A lot of people speculate about Fred or Huckabee as McCain's VP... I happen to believe that McCain wants Tim Pawlenty for that role... so I think this is the last you will see of ol'Fred.

hmm... nah, thompson supporters despise huck. I surmise that we will gain the most from his dropout, then mccain, then romney.

I think that the vast majority of Fredheads will either come to us (40-60%, hello double digits in National Polling) or to the undecided crowd. The small (1-15%) amount of others will head to Romney, maybe a little Huckabee (5%, max).
