Fred won't win TN. I can tell you that right now. TN will either vote for Romney, Huckabee, or Mccain.

He's not in TN campaigning. I think he's specifically there to not be campaigning. I didn't see anyone saying his mother's condition had worsened either, just that she had been ailing for some time.

The only advertising I have seen in Tennessee is from Obama. No Ron Paul here yet that I have seen.

I wrote a little about this (link in my sig) when it seemed Thompson would place fourth in SC...I believe we can certainly get a lot of his votes. It's truly sad that he seems to be in this to help McCain, though.

How can this country supposedly hate the war, want it to end, and then mostly vote for neocon warmongers? Doesn't make sense.

I live in east TN, Ron Paul seems to have decent grassroots here. Lots of activity at the local university, banners in several places, people in Ron Paul t-shirts. There's a decent Meetup group here, too.

Gun boards is where you will find many of them. Although many have already expressed an interest in getting behind McCain and Huck.

I'm surprised that many gun owners would actually support Thompson, being that he is so soft on the second amendment. If true, RP would certainly appeal to them on this issue...

1) Pro-Life
2) Pro-Gun

I know quite a few pro-lifers that were banking on Thompson. We have to make sure they know about Ron Paul instead of them going to Huckabee. Romney, McCain, and Guiliani are really weak on this issue.

Yep, get out there to your local pro-life rally tomorrow! January 22 is the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, so get out there with your Ron Paul is Pro-Life signs.

Don't directly try to sale Paul to people like that. Just point out facts. Facts that Thompson wants to ban assault rifles, or direct reagan quotes, etc...

That way they think they have found the truth their selves

You're making it way to simple. I think Thompson was probably the most fiscal conservative left besides Paul too. That can't hurt.
