i know that Paul is currently 3rd in the fox news iowa poll but i was suprised they actually spoke of this and didnt censor him out of the poll!! good job guys there gonna be surprised when we take NH and make a splash in iowa~!

It's not the Fox poll. It's the Iowa Independent poll. But it was mentioned on Fox.

From what I gathered it wasn't a poll - it's the opinion of the Iowa Independent blog - although it's an extremely reputable blog here in Iowa, it isn't an actual poll of the people.

That's how I understand it, anyway.

I just saw it on Dipsh*t & Colmes. They posted the poll results with large pics of the candidates across the screen, which I was surprised to see they put it up there with Paul showing 3rd. Most excellent. Of course, immediately after that they went to a 'national' poll percentage, in which Paul wasn't shown at all.

ok I'm confused....if it's real then we'll see it tomorrow too

Latest Newsweek poll:

Huckabee 39
Romney 17
Thompson 10
Giuliani 9
Paul 8
McCain 6

So, the latest Newsweek poll, it's a statistical tie for 3rd!

However, I think this poll is effed. No way is Huckabee that high.

The douche Hannity of course ignored Ron being #3. Hannity tries to avoid speaking about Dr Paul at all cost, because Ron's views can't be crammed into that peanut-sized brain of his.

Huckabee's strength has really opened up a spot for 2nd or 3rd for Ron in Iowa.

I passed out slimjims at my local mall today. I would ask people who they supported for President before I told who I was supporting and not one person out of maybe 75-80 people I talked to said they supported Huckabee. Obviously this is in SC and not Iowa, but you`d think if the guy was really "moving up" so much he would have at least had a couple supporters around here. Just something that makes you go hmmmmmmmm.....

so can you give the results of your informal polling?

Surprisingly to me, the poll numbers are in Iowa that are showing Paul 3rd. And I believe Huck's numbers are what they are, unlike our candidate. The religous base has been searching for a candidate to support, and they've refused to buy the Gooliani, the Romster, and now they're tired. They're just worn out with all this. So here comes Huck, preaching about God, and they have latched on....it doesn't seem to matter what his policies are, or his prior record is...the man talks to God. ;)

Well holy shit good god all mighty that's the only reason I need... Off to vote huckabee, ughhhh sometimes Christians can be so stupid! I mean no disrespect but if you are going to make up such a large block of voters you think you would get your facts straight before voting. It's all these damn t.v. evangelists and these non denominational churches that just spew propaganda to the core.

Well I will have you know that my mom is a hard core evangelical Christian and she is voting ron paul. All I had to do was show her one video and a slim jim and she knew who she was voting for. Her evangelical church and another one about 15 minutes away are full of ron paul supporters so I don’t believe the huckster speaks for all the Christians, just the fake ones.
