Both Fox Debates gave Dr. Paul outstanding moments to shine, whether intentionally or not, they are getting his message out. Even Hannity's negativity provides sparks. When major figures appear to be against Ron Paul, iits because his campaign has traction, Dr. Paul is HOT! He's good media and an audience developer and he's got a big fan base. The media takes notice of many things, money, charisma, presence. He's on O'Reilly because Bill respects Dr. Paul and will say so. I think Bill will let Dr. Paul advance his anti-war theme because at least Dr. Paul isn't a Democrat! I bet Bill will recognize Dr. Paul's position is one of principle and consistency. Of course, Bill will have to dominate any apparent conflict of views but this is a mutually beneficial interview. I think Bill may have Dr. Paul on more often for a contrarian point of view. Ron Paul on The Factor makes Bill O'Reilly look good. It also makes Keith Olbermann of MSNBC (where Ron Paul gets good covverage otherwise) look behind the loop on the Ron Paul phenomonon.
No ones asking Tancredo, Brownback, or Hunter squat. No media care about their opinions. The media knows these three are bit players who will not make the cut. But with Dr. Paul, they don't know, he's got growth room and they know Ron Paul followers have intensity and devotion, and they still don't know how much that will impact on the early primaries. Dr. Paul will no doubt raise no less than $3 - $4 million in the third quarter, these others much less. Huckabee is the stay-in because of his charm and fundamentalist appeal, but will he get the money necessary to carry on?
Fox covers Dr. Paul regularly as Youtube shows, CNN is perhaps the weakest on Ron Paul, and Joe Scarborough and Tucker Carlson on MSNBC are the most sympathetic, but that doesn't always produce a good recruitment video.
If you were a religious person and had to choose between Dr. Paul, Giuliani, Thompson, McCain and Romney, who would it be? That will be an influential decision.
