As precincts in New Hampshire report in the nation’s first primary vote, Texas Congressman Ron Paul shows a strong second, well ahead of supposed rival Jon Huntsman, and more closely behind Mitt Romney than earlier polls had shown. TV news outlets are calling it for Romney, and have further projected Ron Paul at second place, admitting that second place remains important for the rest of the GOP primary yet to unfold.
Obviously results are still pouring in, and Diebold voting machines may well prove to be a factor.
