FOX attacking us about MLK stuff in newsletters....Get ready...

Wow. Fox picks a good day to release their smear. Guess they were watching the donation totals go up.

Every time fox news attacks us, we get stronger!

Are there any other candidates out there with supporters donating in the memory of MLK?

didn't think so... let fox do what they've always done... lie and lose credibility.

This has already been brought up in the "Bad Media" forum -- where this one should have been.

Anyone who didn't think that some media outlets would save this story for today are crazy. :)

I wonder if this is the one and only time they've ever put Ron Paul on the front page? Wouldn't surprise me.

FNC seems to have crossed a line where they believe they can go to any lengths of bias and their core-support won't care. Perhaps it is because they initially insulated themselves against outside criticism by suggesting they were the one and only counterbalance to the "liberal" media, so now their followers are particularly trusting?

Just remember, most people don't trust the media. That's why any form of person-to-person work is so important... it's the one thing the MSM can't do, and it can be more powerful. Eventually, if the revolution succeeds, the MSM might take a permanent credibility hit in the eyes of most Americans.

And how many black men does Fox news have as top anchors anyway? I don't see any in their prime slots. Do they have any at all?

This is classic!

CNN and Fox playing good cop, bad cop.

The only reason Fox is doing what it is does is to make CNN look better.

While CNN is not so much better than Fox, some people are fooled into thinking CNN is telling the truth.

I wonder how long the public is going to put up with it.

[Fictional Reporter Interviewing FNC's Chris Wallace]:

"You're organization has taken a lot of heat lately for banning Ron Paul from a debate, misrepresenting his successes in your own polls, engaging in ad hominem attacks against him and his supporters, showing obvious bias against him in your debates, and now running the decade old story seeking to associate Dr. Paul with articles someone published in his newsletters without Paul's consent. Not only that, but you've chosen to make this latest article the one and only Ron Paul article ever placed on your web site's front page."

"In spite of your attempts, Ron Paul's campaign finished second place in Nevada, has more financial support from Americans than virtually any other GOP candidate, has more military support than any other GOP candidate, is enjoying a grassroots sponsored fund-raiser to honor MLK, has had the president of the Austin NAACP support him, and has seen the former Governor of New Mexico endorse him..."

"My question to you, sir: How bad is the blow-back from your organization's attacks on Paul beginning to hit FNC, and how do you plan to recover your credibility?"

comments?

I can't help but notice some rather odd comments left on the MLK/newsletter story, for example:

Ron has some great ideas and he is a constitutionalist, which is good. The only thing to his discredit, is he doesn’t recognize the cliff in his path and make a turn. He has some of the same ideas that Pat Buchanan expressed when he was running for president. Pat was labeled an isolationist and was defeated. He should have been labeled a patriot.

Everything said in this newsletter was factual, but has been kept quite by media censorship. Michael King (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s real name) had many character flaws and does not deserve his own holiday. I would rather see a ‘civil rights’ holiday.

Why does RP have to deny or apologize? These things about so-called “Dr” King have been substantiated for decades. Why would we put him on the same level as our Founding Fathers? Ron Paul all the way!

Perhaps I am suffering from sleep deprivation, but the above comments are not the typical kinds of comments that I see from Paul supporters elsewhere on the internet. I can't help but thinking these are plants (... and if so, that would imply at least part of the billionaire post is true .... hmm ... I'm digging too deep now).

Maybe I've just censored myself from these sorts of supporters, maybe they really exist. But, man, even then they really do seem like fishy comments.

No wonder I use to get ripped on when watching ans supporting faux news in the early 2000's.

Many knew it back then, more know it now. It's only a matter of time.

If it was 40 years ago, FOX NEWS/MEDIA and their NEOCONS FREAKS... would be TOTALLY against any kind of equal rights in this nation.

FOX NEWS & MEDIA... ONE STEP from realigning the STARS on the AMERICAN FLAG into a SWASTIKA!

Does this really surprise anyone? The low donations for this moneybomb and Fox news bringing this Scandal up on MLK day? I was attacked repeatly for suggesting an alternative Moneybomb day and demanding a better response from Dr. Paul; called a troll, hostile e-mails, etc... many good forum members left, not because of the scandal but because of the behavior of some on this forum. <--- you know who you are.

Low donations? lol. It's the 3rd biggest donation day, and it's already doubled the 4th biggest donation day.

What candidates have raised more than 1.2 million in a day? That's where we're at right now.

Do you research these things, or do you just spin negative for no reason?

Wake up! This should have been the biggest moneybomb day yet... now it is ammo to be used against Dr. Paul... I can imagine the Fox headline already..

Low turnout in MLK moneybomb, Racist Newsletters hurting Ron Paul?? We Report, You Decide. followed by that annoying fox news alert sound.

How should it have been the biggest? We all only have so much money to send in to the campaign. Last night, Ron Paul said he didn't expect it to be a very big bomb because the people giving the money are poor and not special interest groups.
