There are other "Ron Pauls" out there.. but they are not as well-known or their record isn't as extensive. And there are people who will never see anyone that is as good as Ron Paul or they may not accept another person who might only be 90% aligned with the views.

Wish we could play ball and pander just to get the nomination. The end justifies the means. =(

I think that would have been true a decade, or two, ago. I don't agree anymore. There are several people stepping up to the plate who can hit the grand slam time and time again. Gunny, Tom, Rand, Bob, Edwin, James, Justin, Karen, Andrew, Adam, Michael, Steven, Paul, Randy, Donna, Shorty, Ted, Pedro, Leo, John, Debra, Peter, Anthony, Ron, Tibor, Annie, Elias, Gerald, Lew, Gary, Ahab, Danke, Josh, and tons of others... on and on and on again. There are so many people making their stand. The powers-that-be would be wise to cease and desist their shennigans. Soon we will know if Evelyn, Elizabeth, Phillip, Ben, Henry, Zbigniew, Hillary, George, Obama, Mitt, Rick, Newt, and the other counterfeiters are smart enough to know when enough is enough. Enough is enough.

Think about it. Someone who is as knowledgeable with regards to the economy and EVERY OTHER aspect of government. There isnt an answer to a question that Ron Paul doesnt know. You NEVER see him fumbling around for a response.

Someone who is so incredibly incorruptible. Someone we KNOW that we can trust, who wont ever bow to down to pressure from the establishment or lobbyists.

Someone who in the face of a neo-con/media frenzy, has the courage and integrity to announce on a national stage that we are being fed more Iraq type propaganda about Iran. That we should NOT get involved in another war, that Iran is NOT a threat, that Israel CAN take care of ITSELF.

There will NEVER be another Ron Paul.

This! I'm 23 and only started learning AE since 09 yet in those three years listening and reading Woods, Rothbard, Mises, Hayek, Murphy, Schiff, Dilorenzo, Hoppe, etc. the knowledge gained has been incredible. Hell i always wonder where i'll be mentally at 40. What makes this better is that i know i'm not the only one, and i know there are people that started younger than myself.

Theres never been a politician like Ron Paul. There will be never be a politician like Ron Paul.

Yes "ideas" are a part of it but so are ideals, principles, moral fiber, strength and courage. The entire package.

How many viable Presidential candidates in our life times have we seen that cannot be pressured by the Party, who cannot be bought by the lobbyists, who has such a deep understanding of the economy that he or she is able to predict events, who has a STRICT adherence to the Constitution, who will safeguard civil liberties, who will stand up on a stage in front of millions are say that the Iran rhetoric is war propaganda and that ISRAEL can take care of itself.

NO ONE. This will NEVER happen again.

The Israel issue ALONE is political suicide in America.

i dont agree with RP on everything and i think he's definitely wrong on a few things, but there wont ever be someone who is as principled as him. Just read A Foreign Policy of Freedom, i never heard of anyone taking the same stance over and over again LMAO, its impeccable

Let's face it, most young politicians want a career that isnt Ron Paul's LOL. They want perks and privilege of being a politician and they certainly would never vote alone.
