*Foreign Policy Ad Extremely Vital at this Point*

Many of us have been talking on here and asking the campaign, through whatever way they can, to bring out the big guns and create a hard hitting and honest ad on Ron's foreign policy. One that would crush all of the misconceptions and fallacies perpetrated by the media.

It needs to touch on the following:

-Ron's defense of Israel in the 1980s
-Ron wants a STRONG national DEFENSE
-Ron wants secured borders with boots on the ground
-Ron wants to "cut the head off the snake" when it comes to illegal immigration (a part of foreign policy)
-Ron wants diplomacy and free trade with countries who are willing
-Ron will go to war with a proper declaration from Congress if our nation is threatened
-Michael Scheuer's endorsement
-And a closing quote with Benjamin Netanyahu saying this quote "...friends, we do not need any nation building. We are already built."

Anything else I missed? Please add. We are losing conservatives and Republicans left and right because of Ron's perceived foreign policy. The media and radio talking heads always thrash Ron and his supposed foreign policy stance, while agreeing with mostly every other issue that Ron stands for.

The campaign needs a foreign policy ad a.s.a.p. And now would be a really good time considering we are going into South Carolina.
It needs to be well made and it needs to go viral the second it hits the Internet and television. What we did with Gingrich's ad, we can triple the effect with Ron's foreign policy ad.

So, anyone with connections within the campaign, please tell them to get on the ball with this idea.

Thanks for the bump.

Well, I really think this should be priority. And there is no sign whatsoever that the campaign is working on anything related to this idea.

The post you mentioned, is it the big write up someone did with a link to Wikipedia?

Sorry, I'm not seeing any video related to foreign policy.

Uh...It's not a video, it is a post on a board linking what the mainstream says Ron Paul stands for in regards to foreign policy and then showing what its historical roots are. If you have a video that makes the correlation, do post it. I said Imagine that as a commercial. I did not say it already were a commercial. I guess you have to read ALL the post.

Bumping for views.

Noticed more and more people are demanding a hard hitting foreign policy ad. Hopefully, it's not too late after S.C. where such an ad would have been extremely effective.

Thanks for the bumps.

The campaign needs to get something together. I don't know any other way to contact them, anyone have direct connections with people in the campaign? Please plant this idea in their heads!

If they made an ad like this, they should include the clip of O'Reilly talking to Romney about how bombing Iran would start WWIII.

From all of the people I have spoken with while calling people in my precinct and from PfH, I think that this is the make-or-break issue for the campaign. So PLEASE, if there is anyway to let the campaign know (I'm sure they do... :collins: ), PLEASE, someone tell them that this is imperative. We need to counter the mis-representations from the media. It's not enough that someone may strongly agree with Ron on the economy and not strongly with any other candidate on any issue; there are people who are actually against Ron for his perceived positions, even though he may be stronger on cutting taxes, etc. We need to clear the misconception.

Otherwise, I think the campaign is over. :(

I think we can do this and look STRONG ... it must be forceful and clear ... I've said all along our foreign policy can be are greatest strength but we do not have a 3 rd estate , we have a propaganda war machine media ... JFK once said a properly informed American public will do the right thing ... let's drill it home powerfully !

They at the campaign should heed your warning!

About making contact with the campaign:

They have a phone number--
What happens when people have called it?
Perhaps you can start talking to someone local -maybe find someone who has organized a RP meetup...and use their connection to the campaign to reach them.

An indirect way might be to start talking to Rachel Mills, the press secretary for RP at his Congressional office.
Although it's not his 2012 campaign, she might be sympathetic and help you get in touch with someone she knows at the campaign.

Please let us know if you ever do reach someone.

I've gone through the contact page on the 2012 site.

I am calling the number they've provided also on the contact page tomorrow.

Seriously, more and more people are getting behind this and we need something, anything.

I literally just posted this in a similar thread...seems relevant here as well:

I just think we need to change the subject. Foreign Policy doesn't even register for most people - it's not a major concern for average Americans. It matters to Neocons, and only Neocons. They are trying DESPERATELY to set the narrative and to make Paul appear weak/unelectable any way they can.

I say we just stick to what matters, the economy, and win this thing.

Yeaw right. Facebook? Foreign policy MATTERS and when asked about it in a debate RP CAN'T Ignore it. Foriegn policy was always RP's weakness and he should have made short sweet soundbits whenever asked about it and not bumble around trying to educate the world on a hundred years of history in 30 seconds.

Okay. How about Rasmussen Reports?

They ranked the following issues in order of importance:

The economy, healthcare, taxes, government ethics & corruption, social security, education, immigration, national security/war on terror, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
