for both atheists and zealots :)

I disagree with the premise. Atheism is a position on a single question: Do you believe in a god?" Other than that, there is no philosophy, no dogma, no tenants. Now you can go ahead and then choose whatever philosophy you want to go with from there, as these guys have done. But calling their new philosophy, "positive atheism" is a little bit silly. Since they are following the philosophy of some guy named Gora, they should call it Gorism, or something.

Yes or No

There is no God, and Paul Dirac is his prophet.

Are you absolutely sure there is no God? If so, how do you *know?

*In order to answer this question correctly, you must first have absolute knowledge. Since no man has absolute knowledge about everything in the universe, your answer will be most interesting, to be sure.

You're right in the sense that absolute knowledge about God is not possible (yet). However, it seems that a stronger burden of proof lies on those who believe in God-seeing as it is they who would be "authority" figures in a theistic society.

That is, it takes more evidence to believe than disbelieve because of credibility and burden of proof. (JMHO)

I lived in the States for 17 years...

In Australia people are religious, we celebrate it, encourage it.

Christians contribute to our country.

Why do you guys create disharmony amongst yourselves?

The conflict between theists and atheists goes back many centuries. From the western perspective, the Church has long been attempting to control individuals and society at large. Kings and Queens and presidents have justified atrocious deeds with religion. This tends to breed resentment and distrust among independent-minded folks.

Do you know why pre-renaissance music seems so dull? The church thought that solid rhythms would encourage individuals to get in tune with their sexual beings (they condemned rhythmic music because of how it encouraged "girations of the genitals").

In other words, it's a distrust of established authority for many. Hope that answers your question.

Yes, I have absolute proof that those gods don't exist because I have true revelation from God Himself which refutes the claims of those gods. That true revelation is the Holy Scriptures (Old and New Testaments), and it has historical, prophetical, scientific, logical, and spiritual evidence which attests to its own validity. Those other gods do not.

The statement that the Holy Scriptures are the true revelation of God does not require absolute knowledge, so you can't use that argument against me. All it requires is that you obey its precepts and apply its truths to the universe in which we live, and God promises that He will make Himself known to all, as He states in John 14:21, "He that hath My commandments and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me, and he that loveth Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him and will manifest Myself to him."

Yes, I'm absolutely sure because the only way I could know that the Holy Scriptures were the true revelation of God is if God Himself, being the absolute Creator of the universe and possessing all knowledge therein, initiated that knowledge transcendentally through some medium or Mediator to me, which He has most certainly done.

"Revelation, when applied to religion, means something communicated immediately from God to man... But admitting, for the sake of a case, that something has been revealed to a certain person, and not revealed to any other person, it is revelation to that person only. When he tells it to a second person, a second to a third, a third to a fourth, and so on, it ceases to be a revelation to all those persons. It is a revelation to the first person only, and hearsay to every other; and consequently, they are not obliged to believe it." - Thomas Paine, from The Age of Reason

....Each of those mythical beings had scriptures that were each no more extravagant and nonsensical then the scriptures of the mythical being you belief in.

You have no proof. None at all. Never will. That is fact.
