The blimp is one of the most effective tools the grassroots has in getting Ron Paul's NAME out in front of the public. Bar none. Money bombs, operation this and that...whatever. The media can't hide the blimp, but lack of financial support CAN.
Matt, I think you are seriously underestimating the earned media that the blimp has generated across the USA.
Blimp!

PERHAPS. But earned media does not = votes whereas paid for media can = votes (if done properly).
I totally disagree. Earned media is more effective because it is the program not the ad spaces in between. People don't tend to fast forward their Tivo through it or go to the bathroom during it like they do with political commercials. Also, it's a blimp, not Huck kissing a baby or something boring like that.
Very true, but you have to realize that less than 15% of REGISTERED voters actually vote in the primaries. Therefore targeting a general audience is not as efficient as targeting voters or supervoters. The blimp reaches out to people that don't watch TV, and that's a sh!t load of people.

Why anyone would ever open a piece of political mail is beyond me.
Ouch, I've been pwned. Will I ever recover?
