Hillsborough County: I received a notice from someone on the ground there that they are only taking Precinct Committee-person applications at the Kennedy Blvd. office:

Florida supporters - We need you to do this simple task. Many people are reporting that they are the only candidates who have filed and they will automatically be Precinct Committeemen once the filing period closes if no one else steps up. There are many precincts where no one will file as a candidate.

Drove 40 miles in the pouring rain to turn in my paperwork! According to the ladies at the Duval SOE office there are plenty of spots open. Can't wait to represent Duval 607!

Got both the REC Loyalty Form and the Candidate Oath forms turned in to their respective people. The REC had Romney signs everywhere and they had two guys my age working a phone bank for Romney... little do they know what will happen in Tampa. I haven't been able to find local Paul supporters; the people close to me are the type of people who are 'settling' for Romney and they aren't interested in signing up.
