Let's look at it from the elitist standpoint for a second. Imagine you're a stock broker. You have busted your tail for years. Stayed awake for weeks at a time on meth binges doing research so you could pick the best stocks for your portfolio. You made some good decisions took some big risks. No, I am not at all fine with the Constitution going out the window.

If we followed the Constitution, there would be no problem:

Article IV: Section 4, Government;

The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion

There is no faster way to make the Constitution go out the window, than to allow an invasion and subsequent political voting bloc comprised of South American and other third world, Marxists, millions of whom supported the likes of Chavez and Maduro.
